Well, with Asteroids they must touch things VERY closely for them to count. 2 degrees is the most usually. Some people only go with one degree or less. They are like spices. If you have Nessus in the 8th house, not doing anything else,it would be like a tine sprinkle of curry in a huge soup, not noticeable. So, what is Nessus doing--only considering 2 degree orbs. Conjunctions are the strongest thing, too. ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . the orb makes sense why i don't feel some asteroids. sometimes even 2 degs is too huge. like in the stars. there were too many fixed stars to list under a 3 degree orb. what bout no planet there? do you feel the asteroid more or does it have to conjunct a planet? for example my juno and chiron are in the 8th. there is nothing there. i guess they could conjunct each other. i'll check. but say they don't. will i feel them? Yes,Nessus does not mean you will be a dark/bad person just that you will be called upon to face the dark sides of human nature as my Jung quote suggests. Yes,Asteroids have to be VERY tight--really a degree or less. If two things are just sitting in a house,I would not count them lol ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . Doesn't nessus represent abuse? I know IQ has a lot of interesting information on it. In my chart it is particularly destructive i think. I know pluto can represent abuse too. Well I am a female with sun conjunct pluto 0 deg and they are squaring nessus, 0 deg. I attract extremely dangerous men. I'm not sure if this is the pluto or the nessus influence on my sun, or probably both.

"Doesnt nessus represent abuse?" That's old. Now we live in 2011. I've checked out so many chart in people who are the smartiest.... the most of these people have very strong and hard nessus. IP: Logged |

Well, as Popcorn said it CAN represent abuse. However, one can not SAY that someone who has Sun conjunct Nessus is an abuser. That person will have to confront his own inner depth at the greatest level. I think it is fair to say that. Then,he could be a wonderful detective for example. One of my favorite authors,Evan Hunter must have a prominent Nessus cuz he discusses Nessus issues in all of his books. Some musicians are Nessus musicians lol You see what I mean? ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . It CAN represent abuse though. It often does especially in synastry. If it is in a tight orb to personal planets,it seems to. Does the relationship HAVE to be abusive? No People have free will. Free will trumps the charts or so I am told

And it's not an bed of roses to bring something good into the life. I see like that the smartest people I checked out not fear or be afraid of evolution. Nessus bring everything more deeply. So I say again do not put to much energy to nessus...We live in another time now. IP: Logged |
