My Ascendant is 1°34' Cancer. I've noticed that I exhibit traits of both Cancer and Gemini Rising. Does anyone else have any personal points or planets on the cusp and how has this affected you?IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Leo at 29 degrees (yes Regulus Star). Sometimes acts like it's in Leo, sometimes like it's in Virgo.Sometimes I love being in the center of attention sometimes I just want to hide where no one can see me. IP: Logged |

I mean, there are more than a few indicators in a chart that would make one inquisitive and outgoing than just ASC signs.Do you have any Air or Sag placements? IP: Logged |

ASC 29 Aries, but I seem more like Taurus rising...maybe it's my Taurus Moon that gives me Taurus traits, not the cusp ASC...

Curbro - I'm in the same boat... very early Cancer AC (I thought it was Gemini for a while but not so on my birth certificate). I do see traits of both in me to be honest... That's why it was so difficult to figure out which one I was.
I even asked friends and people close to me.. to read interps for Gem and Cancer AC -- and tell me which one I seem more like... and they were all confused (because they see traits of both signs in my behaviour). IP: Logged |

If I have my exs birth time right, which is kinda certain, she has sun, Rising, desc and Uranus at 0 degrees, as well as 5th and 11th house at 0 and Jupiter and Saturn at 2 degrees and 6/12 house at 2 degree. Sound conflicting and even contradictory? If so, I would say, yes that is what she was. That is why I am sure I have her BT correct, her rising at 0 makes too much sense especially in the sign it is in. She seemed to exhibit a multitude of different energies and is pretty changeable IMO.
I myself have Mercury in Sag at 0 degrees and Neptune Sag 29 degree but I identify way more with sag for those two than scorpio in venus or neptune.

My brother is Gemini Rising at 28.56 Gemini.he exibits a lot of Cancer qualities and is a major homebody. On top of being a Gemini Riser, he is also a Gemini Sun. He hates going out all the time and prefers to tinker at home. He gets more enjoyment staying at home and fixing things than going out with the lads. He will occasionally go out with them but this is about once every couple of months if that. His Venus sits in Cancer as well.
His Mercury is also in Gemini. He is the biggest clown ever and definitely likes being the centre of attention when we go out, but getting him out of the house is really hard. Even to come and visit his poor ol sis !!! IP: Logged |

Do you have venus in cancer too? I always thought it was his venus cancer that made him swing this way as well considering the ASC, Sun and Mercury are all in Gemini (albeit in the 12th)IP: Logged |

Greetings!My ASC is 29 GEMINI 51 - soo close Mysticknowflake!  You were born around 10:57 pm?? I understand feeling both Gemini and Cancer energies. The way I think about it is based in nature. When the seasons turn, one doesn't instantly flip a switch from spriing to summer, summer to fall, and so on. The weather and light changes gradually. I think having a 29* rising is having the total culmination of that sign's energy. And having a 0* rising would be like being all fresh and new in that energy. I have my Sun in the 4th house so I know this makes me more sympathetic to the Cancerian energy. Plus, most Cancer people fall into my first house so it helps me to vibe really well with them giving me another sympathetic Cancer link. On the other hand (hehe I'm a Libra) I don't really "get" Gemini's at all and I'm thinking it has something to do with almost all of them falling into my 12th house. I'd venture to say that Gemini is the least known sign to me as I have never really attracted any into my life!

While I don't understand Geminis at all, I do seem to attract them from time to time due to a Sagittarius Mars. My Pisces Sun has to take them in doses, though, especially with my 6,247,658,157 aspects to Pluto. IP: Logged |
