I have noticed that once one person answers a topic, everyone does...and when someone doesn't answer no one does. I believe if someone ask, there should be some attempt to reply. I haven't been very good about being on here, and I am attempting to make a committment to visit more and to especially help out with those that no one seems able to help or doesn't want to answer.. so here we go! post away, anyone care to join me in this effort?

Thank you Seelah I totally agree-even though I am new, I try to respond to others posts especially if no one else does. It really is all about respect-treating others the way you would like to be treated-It feels terrible not be acknowledged

I'm glad others feel the same way

I give whatever a go, although I don't really do asteroids or relationship requests, so will leave these up to the others. I just answer basic questions mainly.

When I first joined LL in 2006, I was amazed at how helpful everyone on here was, especially with helping me interpret my natal etc.. But as you grow as an astrologer, it gets harder to respond to the simple questions, and I honestly can't stand all the synastry posts... And I don't go here as frequently so I don't respond as often, myself. Or my responses get ignored...

at V: perhaps just discuss one aspect, and not all of them that way you can participate but leave some of the chart for others but I understand what you are saying. I am just trying to help others out.

I think its more how the questions are posed. I think it also has to do there is no sticky on how to post a chart. A lot of times I want to help but I don't get the question. Other times, I outright don't know the answer.

But I will try to help if I know a little something about the question.

I don't believe in only counting super tight orbs. However, most here do. Its 4 degrees and since its Jupiter, even I'd say that's a pretty wide conjunction.

I asked Seeleah how she decided to do this thread. She said she didn't know.Later,it hit me that LL may have an Aqua ASC, a helping vibe lol.
I don't look at transits cuz I think I will get too obsessed but I wonder what is the NN lol

tnx! sometimes i even count 10! i'm new to the conjunct thingy. so what's the proper orb for a planet? wha bout an asteroid? i've done fixed stars and it seems to make sense to be in 0-1 coz then a lot of stars come in if you use more.

Moon and Sun can be allowed 8-10
Other planets are up to 8
Asteroids are less than 2
Of course, astrologers vary. That goes w/out saying lol

I'd say with the normal planets there's a bigger range bit since Parts are a math point and stroids are really small rocks for the most part orbs are tight like 0-2°

Personally I would give a degree or two for the big asteroids
