Topic: Getting Along with people of your same birth year

I was wondering about birth years. I feel like its hard for me to get along with others from my same birth year. I usually talk to people from the year before or the year after mine. It seems hard for me to connect with others from my birth year. Im not sure why though. It just feels bland? I suppose. What astrological reasons can there be for this?------------------

They may have generational planets making harsh aspects to your personal planets (ie. they play out a generational aspect in your chart). IP: Logged |

ya but the people in the year before have the same planets as i do generational wise. and all my planets are pretty much in the same house same sign as theirs. I wouldn't think conjunctions would be that bad right? Unless thats whats making it feel like not exciting. hahah------------------

Conjunctions can go either way, especially with outer planets involved.

i get along with people the same age as me but out of everyone, they make me the most nervous because their outer planets hit my sun, moon, venus and mars and ASC all at the same time lol
theres my sun (leo) squaring uranus (scorpio) with pluto squaring my ASC. i blame these for my nerves. pluto and uranus tag teaming is just a right pain in the ass actually hahah but they do make me one scary blackeyed ***** if provoked lolthen theres sun sextile pluto - this is very curious placment for me as what i've read it is often regarded as "love at first sight" aspect. have experienced this once with my first proper boyf (his sun more exact with our pluto, our birthdays same year, four days apart). the last guy i fancied, when i first saw him, he caught my attention but it certainly wasn't "love" as such. was more of a "hmmmmmm cute but you look alot like someone i used to knoow?....weeird...". and we are the same age, his birthday is eight days after mine. i'm kind of used to the harsh energy (most of it is) however, i do tend to gravitate towards older people, theres a softer vibe. i also get along excellently with much younger folks  IP: Logged |

I like people born in my birth year - '86.. They're mostly Tigers in Chinese Astrology (like myself).Mars was in Capricorn for a looooong while that year. It went retrograde and back into Cappy - so several people born in '86 are fellow Cappy Mars peeps (which is a good thing!). I have more trouble with those born in 82-85 ... They often have very close oppositions from their Pluto to my Venus. Everyone I went to school with was born in '85. I was nice to these people and kept up pretenses. But to be frank - I did not particularly like 90% of them. (and I refuse to add them on FB)
I only keep in touch with my best friend and another girl.
Otherwise I wasn't that into them.
I find the '85 bunch less fun and less entertaining (more somber overall) - as a group. The BEST people are '87 borns who have Aries Jupiter. They love me like a fat kid loves cake. They're all over me lol I wish I stayed back a year - rather than skipped ahead... If I'd gone to school with '87 borns.. I would've been crowned queen (of something?) and I would've had much more FUN. With the '85 bunch - it was sooooooo boring.. omg
I have a feeling it's the contrast between their Scoprio Saturn and my Sagittarius Saturn..
Becase *seriously* If there ever was a "jolly" version of Saturn.. that would be Sagittarius Saturn! lol

Oh - The other thing is with the '85 people.. They are so easily embarressed and they are such sticklers for rules and social norms.. It drove me NUTS!They are stuck somwehere in 18th century as far as I'm concerned. There is too much sticking to tradition in that generation (which may be due to Scorpio Saturn) rather than exploring new pastures (which suits my Saturn in Sag). IP: Logged |

There was a member here who used to post that was born 5 hours before me. We had identical charts except Asc and Vertex. I posted a thread asking if anyone was born on same day and year as me and she responded. We are still friends to this day!------------------

Cool!!! I can tell a 1984 baby from a mile away, there is this unspoken tension...... hellooo Scorpio planets (Mars, Pluto, Saturn). Mars was in Scorpio for most of the year and Pluto changed into Scorpio early 1984. Those born earlier in 1984 I get along with better/have less underlying tension with (except for Taurean males born 1984... we have a more friendly and familiar soulful friendship and a sense of understanding, but thats probably because we have almost identical planet placements). Hi sand *waves*I get along with 1984'ers I just find that there is an unspoken tension, especially with women. I worked in medical reception for 8 years and could always tell the energy of a 1984 baby when they were at the desk, before I knew they were born then. When they filled in their chart details I noted the date of birth (this happens automatically for me hehe I can't help it!) and thought.. yep knew it!!! I didn't judge them or anything, but just thought it was interesting I can always pick up on them. I can't pick up on any other years like that. That being said a lot of my friends are 1984'ers from high school, but my two closest friends are 1986 and 1985 born. I dont find early born 1984 babies I have that tension with than middle/late born. I have had some intense friendships with Scorpio 1984 babies (too much Scorpio) and they have all burned me (out of nowhere! they were quite vindictive people) except one who is a total sweetheart and we still see each other occasionally. I have juste realized my entourage is almost only made of people younger than me (10 to 15 years younger, i was born in 1973). I kinda like people born in 1984 (especially men, lol) because their Pluto sextile my venus, which creates an incredible attraction. I can feel very close to them for the good and bad... IP: Logged |

I was born in 86 so yes, I get along with these people but not excellent I would say.
With those born in 85 no. At all.
With those born in 87 no. Many of my collegues from Uni were born in 87 and we didnt get along.
With those below 87 so and so. Now... I have an excellent relationship with those born above 86. Maybe because many of their planets hit mine in trine or sextile. Not to forget NN and NS. IP: Logged |

I was born in 78 but I am drawn to 1984'ers like white on rice, or maybe its the Scorpio influence in them lol! Two women were both 1984 Aquarians, one Jan 29 and the other February 14. Both had Scorpio Asc. Another good friend I met here also has Scorpio Asc. And another female friend not from here has Scorpio Asc. Another female interest is an 84 with Venus in Scorlpio. And lastly, 23 year connection is a Scorpio Sun lol. What's with me and Scorpio Energy?
