They always make me mad, then we stop being friends for a short period of time, then they crawl back to me like "begging for mercy," to take them back. I find this odd since I'm a Cancer, which it is said that they're pretty much weaker than Aries.

This is pretty usual behaviour.. because Aries forgets things and moves on, whereas Cancer remembers things.

Both have strengths and weaknesses. The fact that Cancer pines over emotional pain for years on end.. is a weakness because this is self-damaging.. and it is a weakness Aries does not have. On the other hand, the fact that Aries is psychologically blunt/naive is a weakness because it runs counter to social acceptance and leaves them outcasted. This is a problem Cancer does not have.

The fact that Cancer is easily offended and hurt, even when they do not show it, is a psychological weakness - because it hurts to be unable to heal.
Aries does not have this problem, as they have a very thick skin. They get scarred and come back again.. They get hurt. They get back up again and they slam their horns into that wall over and over ad nauseum, until it either collapses or they die.
This is both a strength and a huge weakness ^

Ultimately, squared signs are simply VERY different... and their strengths/weaknesses are likewise VERY different.

:edit: If you are referring to the typical astrological interpretations where Aries is described as "strong" - this is only because the Sun is exalted in Aries. The energy of the Sun is ego-centric and hence suits Aries. For instance, being courageous is a Sun-matter. If a Cancer Sun person and an Aries Sun person have the exact same phobia.. lets say they are both morbidly afraid of cats.. it will be much easier to convince the Aries person to get over their fear and buy a pet kitten. Because there is a desire in Aries to overcome fears. It's an inborn bravery, which Cancer Suns do not have.:edit:

Apart from the Suns though - So much depends on the amount of Aries/Cancer in each chart.. and the predominance of Moon/Mars in each chart.

A Scorpio Sun person.. or Cancer Sun person... with Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars in Aries... will be much more Aries-like, than an Aries person with Moon/Mars in Capricorn and Mercury in Pisces.

And on the other hand.. a person with 5 planets in Cancer will be more *like* Cancer.. than a Cancer Sun (if the Sun is altered by other influences in the chart).

This just occurred to me..
You were asking about murder in your previous threads, and you posted about ‘Loveless’ the girl with Cancer Mars who committed murder.

This is actually a perfect example of lack of courage.
This girl had THREE of her friends with her in order to commit this murder.. Talk about “ganging up”. I guess even a psychotic Cancer Mars cannot commit murder without someone holding her hand.

This is what people do when they don’t have the confidence to simply stand up to someone on their OWN (without having to lie to them, tie them up and HIDE behind weapons like guns/knives).

An Aries Mars person would take a duel over this ^ any day.

I mean what do you prove by killing someone who has no possibility of defending themselves?
Do you prove that you are tough?
NO – You prove you are a coward and a backstabber.

Sounds like her mercury doesn't conjunct her jupiter.

I read once that when it does, the person has a hard time admitting they are wrong.

So she must have a non-Aries placement for her mercury or jupiter.

To answer the thread's question - I have no idea. I have Aries-Cancer in my chart and usually when a relationship or friendship ends for me that is all - there is no crawling back or begging. People come and go in one's life - they say a reason, a season etc.....once something has run it's course it
s done.

Maybe the aries has water planets in the chart and it draws them back.

an Aries crawl... hmmm would have to be a very weak sun and overpowered by another planet.

Aries by nature will tell it like it is and only apologize when they feel they are truly in the wrong. We are right about 99% of the time though... lol

I'm a cancer, too ^^. Maybe you have this experience with Aries because eventually the Aries realizes they acted really stupidly, which is usually the case, I think. Usually it's aries does something, cancer gets mad. But aries realizes sometimes he/she does things impulsively, so they say sorry. It's not that they're weaker. In fact, it's not a matter of weakness at all. I'd say being able to say sorry is a strength, don't you think?

Not that Aries usually can. LOL. But, well, if they say sorry to you then consider yourself all the more special !

Every sign has its weakness and whatever. But everything can be seen either as a weakness or as a strength. Cancer represents depth and dedication aka making sure things are finished and looked after, while aries represents the complete opposite. They plant the seed, but are not required to make sure the plant grows. That's not what they're here for. They just go to as many places as possible trying to plant new seeds. So, the fact that cancer remembers things is not a weakness or a strength in and of itself,
it's just a fact of their nature to look for depth, meaning, and substance in all things, and to finish whatever was started. Someone who forgets and forgives things quickly could not easily fulfill the mission of a cancer sun, but they could on the other hand, easily fulfill the mission of an aries native.

I don't see how karka's thread is immature at all. Maybe she just has the wrong choice of words. But, you have to admit, it's always been said that cancers are weaker than aries, and I even actually agree with that. I think Cancers need a lot more outside motivation, love, and support to achieve their goals while aries can do it all by themselves. Weaker is not the nicest word, but it's the truth. And how does her threads being "immature" change the kind of reply you give her? If she is an "immature teenager" then if anything I'd hope you gave her a mature response so she could learn from you and see things in a more mature way.

It's not so much this thread RunAround! But in general she seems to have a faulty impression that aggression/rage/murder is fascinating and strong and positive.. while something like apologising when you were wrong is 'weak'.
I thought this was genuine and I did try to offer mature advice.. but now I'm starting to think she is being attention seeking.

Aries don't admit they are wrong often...So them comming back to you could mean that your a really good friend, and they know whatever they did, you didn't deserve.

I don't beg alot of friends for forgiveness. I think I've only done that once.

LOL KarkaQueen! Story of my life!! My childhood friend (Aries Sun/Leo Moon) ALWAYS comes back to be friends with me. Interestingly enough, SHE'S the one with the hot head, not me! I generally let go of whatever craziness she exhibits (my other childhood friends believe that she's bipolar. I don't really care enough to wonder if she is or not), but she NEVER let go of ANYTHING when she was angry! In fact, the reason why I'm even mad at her now is because she went ballistic on me when I wanted to move to NY after college to further my career! My last night in town, she took me out for drinks then yelled at me in her car when she dropped me off at home! When I refused to respond to her diatribe on how selfish it was of me to leave her (?! ), she KICKED ME OUT OF HER CAR!

Since then, I've completely cut her off from my life and refuse to speak to her. That was the last straw. Prior to that incident, she would get mad at me for not giving her attention or joining one of her campaigns (usually against one of our other friends) and would stop speaking to me. She always came back a few weeks later acting like nothing happened! Like she wasn't upset at all... So bizarre... She's tried for the past three years to use several of our common friends to get us into the same room. Ha, I won't even be in the same building with her after what happened. Even a lenient Cancer is still a Cancer! I can't deal with that level of craziness and drama. I already have a Cancer mom!

Most Aries I know, get over things quickly. You have to have hurt me deeply, for me to hold a grudge- or really offend me in some way. I've even been there for someone, when they were in a bad way, and I was very hurt, but momentarily more concerned about them.

Why is it that the majority of the Aries women I know are mellow? I was p*ssed at one the other day for putting an unflattering photo of me up on FB but that's as far as the whole Aries vs. Cancer biz goes for me, mistake was acknowledged and there were no hard feelings. Aries men, however, are a totally different story.

But If there is a fire sign I truly am at odds with, its our next-door neighbors in Leo. That's a hole another can of worms for another day though.
