Hello Knowflakes,

Do you know anyone or have one yourself in the chart? Do you have a kite in your chart?
I noticed this pattern in my chart, an ex boyfriends chart and the chart of someone I fancy. The Kite is supposed to stop the GT getting complacent. Mine is in air and thats been reflected such as doing well at studying, communicating but not so much in terms of making money which an earth trine might be good at. Please share your thoughts.
Thanks

hey hey, i'm about to jump into the bath, but i would LOVE to know more about the Kite formation, others' experience etc. i have 2 Kites. one formal Kite and one informal, because this one involves Chiron which is not supposed to be counted in, i think. but this means most of my planets are involved in one of these Kites. i'm VERY curious to find out everything about Kite!!

when i'm out of the bath i can post my chart and say one or two things about my thoughts on it. this is an exciting topic!!

I have a Kite in water. I've always looked for information on the subject but couldn't find much. Let me think about it a bit before I comment any further!

There was an article by Benicio del Toro on Stariq website that said something about enormous talent and success is possible with this formation.
Well with chiron in my 10th (koch) and 11th (placidus) I have not experienced it but may have helped others along the way with a strong 10th house, so mine seems to be success via assisting others.
I am from the UK and was doing the charts of a band called Blue who have been quite successful a few years back here and one of them - simon webbe has a kite and he went solo and had the most success

Just thought to add, have been seriously into astrology for several years now as a hobby (uranus on midheaven and in 5th house) and did charts of grandparents. My great great grandfather had multiple earth trines and he was very successful at business/work (can I have some of those trines please!!!Not inherited!!) and on the other side of the family my grandparents both have grand trines in water. They do heal but they were positives and negatives to that grand trine as pluto was involved. So depends which planets are involved in GT.
My cousin has a cradle pattern, don't know what that means.

Hmmm... Well I can't say that I really know too much about grand trines or kites but I have them in water. I have two grand trines-- one between my Jupiter in Cancer, Mars in Pisces, and Pluto in Scorpio-- and one between my Chiron in Cancer, Moon in Pisces, and Pluto in Scorpio. Not sure what to make of it. I am very artistic and emotional, and I've read this is supposed to give a lot of creativity and artistic skill, but I also find that it makes me kind of lazy and unmotivated because trine is such an "easy" energy. The T square, although notoriously dubbed one of the more difficult natal configurations, is, I think, more helpful in motivating the individual because it makes it so blatantly apparent what is "missing" in the personality, and what desperately needs to be fixed-- as in a chair with only three legs makes it obvioust that a fourth must be added in order for balance to be restored. I have a kite as well (between Pluto in Scorp, Neptune in Cap, and Moon in Pisces), and I heard that this is supposed to aid in the motivation and success department but I find that it only does so very slightly because it's still dealing with "easy" aspects, as sextile is still considered harmonious energy.
