are you feeling it yet? where is it hitting your chart? what house? any planets?predictions??? Its only monday and I've already got some eclipse news...blah. ready for the full moon already. next... LOL ------------------

My NN is conjunct the GC.I feel people are flying out of my life like in the Rapture .

ha! good analogy. this one occurs in my 7th house. my venus is at 14 capricorn. so, its still in bounds for an opposition as far as i'm concerned cause i feel it. venus rules my 5th house and 10th house. and i feel like both of those areas of my life are like the teacups at the carnival. people in people out. people back in people back out. i just wish for some stability. its driving me bananas. on the relationships/partnership front its like i'm at a buffet and the one thing that i want is not there. aw pooey!if this week is anything like the week of the last eclipse, than i know that today is just Monday and there is a lot more week to go... ------------------

Well, what I do not understand is how long the effects of the eclipse last?
Do things KEEP ending or is it JUST the things that already ended during the actual eclipse ------------------

Hi Ami, From memory the overall effects can be felt up to 6 months from the eclipse. Then at the degree of the eclipse for another year or so after the event whatever planets pass over that degree point activates themes of the eclipse. Eclipses can also be felt one month and one day before or one month and one day after the eclipse. They can also be felt within 4 days of the eclipse and up to 4 days after the eclipse. I think I am but not through loss of friends. My house settlement date is the 30th June and we are coming up against obstacles. Looks more likely to settle on the 1st or 4th July.  Hoping it all goes well. I am feeling really unsettled right now but am unsure if it is circumstantial or eclipse or both. What are the degrees of this eclipse again? IP: Logged |

9 degrees Cancer. I also remember reading that the lunar eclipses are associated with endings and solar ones with new beginnings.

The New Moon in Gemini conjunct my 12th house, and at that time I was able to start taking yoga classes with increased mediatation.Sagittarius is in my 6th house of work and health (or hospitals), so of course 5 days before this eclipse I had to visit my Grandmother in the hospital. Then 5 days after the eclipse, my boss told us that our hours were going to be cut for now on. Also, my friend got in car accident and ended up in the hospital. The New Moon in Cancer is at exact 0 degree to my ASC and Mercury, so I'm nervous about July 1st. IP: Logged |

There are a few different theories on how long the effect of eclipses last. I tend to go with those that say 3 months before and 3 months after. Transits to the eclipse point will frequently stir things up, being logical, Mercury and Venus will be lurking around the eclipse but with a lunar eclipse....it may be 6 months down the road before mercury comes into play.Actually as I'm sat here thinking about it, maybe the lunar ones are more about gestation? Like stuff that's in the womb so to speak..... Mine lands in the 8th conjunct the south node and it's not too far from natal saturn either. July is weird month because we also have what's known as a black moon because there are 2 new moons in that month. (like the opposite to a blue moon which is 2 full moons in one calendar month) IP: Logged |

Is the GC the galactic centre?I haven't looked at it much so I'm not sure. I have the sun trine the GC and I think a few other aspects. I've had a quick look on the net and haven't come across any sources for info on the GC, might be an idea to post on one of the facebook groups to see if anyone knows some good links. As a rule, an eclipse on the north node would bring events that realign the individual with his true direction in life. IP: Logged |

i really feel this season too... i'm trying to shred the old. i'm revising my life and mercilessly pondering if i NEED certain friends still, or rather be rid of them. i'm more and more concerned about my own self, but not in a selfish way but i'm focusing on my evolving process.preceding solar & lunar eclipses were on my AD/DC and Sun. 1st of July it'll be square my Nodes. i'm curious what the show down for me will be...
