The MC would come in to play in a social group,I would think. My thought is that the group could feel planets conjunct the MC more than Planets conjunct the ASC. I am wondering if it can be felt more than the 11th house simply because an Angle might be a stronger point. I do/have analysed myself when I'm out and about in public and I'd say the people that know me in public like the staff at starbucks would probably say I'm more virgo, I tend to be quiet, modest, and I'm generally sat writing. The regulars that I've got to "know" would say I looked intriguing (scorp asc nep in sag in 1st) and had wondered who I was/what I was about. But the groups I've been involved with would say uranus because I tend to be the erratic one...the one that won't/can't quite follow the rules. I'm usually the one that challenges accepted ways of doing things if I see there's room for improvement. I don't always "blend" well haha. The MC is the public status...in the eyes of society. It is the career path yes but it's also the face of our professional self. The 11th is groups IDK where I'd put internet forums in the chart? Maybe it depends on the forum? Ok Quinn I am back to my original theory that I am gonna try to feel what conjuncts the MC. I will go by the thought that an angle will be felt more strongly than a house. With you,you are felt as Uranus to me in THIS setting. I can see how another setting would bring out other parts,though, Even FB would be a different setting.I would use a different criteria for that cuz you are with YOUR friends only rather than in a general community .
