Many of the people I get on with the best and who really know how to hold my attention seem to have one thing in common : their moon is square to my sun! I am sun in Gemini and I can't get enough of people with their moons in Pisces. I am totally fascinated by them and am drawn like a bee to honey. So far, no sign of getting bored- just the opposite in fact. Yet, every book I have read regarding sun square moon in synastry predicts that we will never get on, that these relationships will not work in the long term. And strangely enough, no-one with a moon trine to my sun has ever captured my interest. Does anyone have this same experience? i.e. Actually liking "squary" relationships between sun/moon more that "triny" ones? And does anyone have a positive cookbook interpretation for sun square moon in synastry because I would like to hear it if you do. IP: Logged |

Yes! My best friend of 10 years (we've been going out for one year) has his moon in Pisces. And all of my other crushes have been on guys with Moon in Pisces, and it's really weird! My first boyfriend had his moon in Sag, and that was too much.I like squares and oppositions because they're exciting and you have things to work on. I'm bored with people that have personal planets that make a trine to my Gemini Sun. Oh well. IP: Logged |

I was JUST thinking about this topic---squares to important parts of the chart like Sun/moon/Venus. For me, I cannot STAND them. I am a Gem sun.I can barely stand Virgo and Pisces in same sex relationships I love Sag though, the opposition.I have no oppositions and only two squares.Maybe, that is why. For me Pisces is in the 11th house. BUT Neptune, ruler of Pisces is bang on my Descendant 7th house (in Scorpio). My 7th house moon in Scorpio is also conjunct Neptune. Do you think this could explain it? Maybe, for some people , soft moon-moon aspects are more important for compatibility than a Sun/Moon soft aspects? I'm also pretty sure that for me the Neptune factor on my Descendant must also play a part, because it is literally on top of it. Is anyone else attracted the moon sign of the sign ruling a planet that is in their 7th house? IP: Logged |

I suspect that people with squares tend to be attracted to squares...i have square of pluto/uranus from the 5th house to my moon in gemini and it need the excitement. so i believe that may be the reason some people dont fall for trines IP: Logged |

Oh my god, i have the same placement, piscis in 11, neptune in 7th in scorpio. except my moon in 2nd in gemini. so it may be the 11 house neptune in 7th because i cant get enough of moon in piscis. IP: Logged |

so, i would dare to say that if having a planet in your 7th house (in this case neptune) this gives you a search for neptunian qualities in a person. what more neptunian and pisces mooner?IP: Logged |

Nordicsoul - Thanks so much for your input. It is making so much more sense now for me now. Neptune in the 7th does seem to be the key to loving those Piscean moons! (Sun's also).By the way, like you, I also have lots of hard aspects in my Natal chart, so maybe that's also why the sun/moon square does not bother me. IP: Logged |

Fascinating answers to some questions I had. So--to ask another question here. IF we have something in our 7th house, is that a clue to what we look for in others. I have to say this and it is bad.I have Nessus in my 7th house and I think I look for it in others. I have Venus in the 7th too. I look for it in others, too. I look for love outside myself to a co--dependent degree. In this society it is considered normal but it does not work lol What do you guys think of these things? ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. Did you mean me,Blugray? I don't like Pisces or Virgo, the squares to my Gemini stellium. ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. Ami Anne - yes, from my experience I would definitely agree "IF we have something in our 7th house, is that a clue to what we look for in others." So ... you love bad boys (Nessus), but lovable ones (Venus)! Just checking on the moon theory -do any of them have moon in Libra or Taurus? (Ruler of Venus).

Umm Well,I do not like any Libra placements in men lol.Moon in Libra is one of my least favorite moons. To me,as a Cancer moon, I like the moon in a warm fuzzy place or a child like place. I like moon in Taurus and moon in Leo. It is confusing when Venus rules 2 signs.Venus seems like it rules Libra more than Taurus ,to me. I bet there is some other planet which will come out at some point and rule Taurus lol ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. Your Nessus conjuncts Venus in the 7th ,Sand? Please talk about how it plays out? Do you equate love with abuse? I never talked to someone with Venus conjunct Nessus lol ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. i think so. they have the same degree. love = abuse cors not and i haven't been in any abusive relationships either. though a lot of my other planets seem to point at liking this. lilith in pisces 5th comes to mind. maybe gender comes into play. edit: whoops soryy it was sedna conjunct my venus ehehe! but nessy is der in the 7th as well. also i think all scorp risings would have nessy in 7th. so not really sure if i should attach much significance to it. maybe they show up in aspects anyway except when a house is empty. well dats my theory anyway. ex. i don't feel asteroids in the 7th or 10th coz i have squares and oppositions to those. but in 8th i have nothing and juno/chiron is there. i dunno. just an observation of my own chart. Well, for me love DOES equal abuse.I wish it didn't but when you have been abused ,abuse and love are intertwined as home .------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. . Sand Why don't you research Sedna and do a thread on it on the Asteroid Forum .We can discuss it. Yes, Nessus conjunct Venus would probably be different than most other Asteroids conjunct a Venus.I think.anyway.------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. I only have one square in my natal chart(Sun square Jupiter), but since I have Mars in my 7th house, that's probably why I like squares in synastry. Aggression and excitement in relationships is key.IP: Logged |
