ok so i have read alot about venus in aries and how they are aggressive when showing affection. but also that they need the chace, if you have venus in aries do you find this too be true? And if so do you find that your the chacer or the chacee?

sometimes when reading about this placement it seems like the description is always that they love the chace of a potential relationship. even when they aren`t looking for one at the present moment. do you find this to be true as well?

how would you initiate a relationship with someone you in fact did like? how would you approach them, what things would you want them too do to get your attention.what is your style of looks, sexual style and fetishes that you find pleasurable.

also what house is your venus in and what placements are they making?

also include people you know with this placement brother sister relative or ex lover.

The conventional wisdom, Darling is that the woman with Venus in Aries are big chasers.
The men with it NEED to be chased

i dont know i think alot of men with venus in aries love being the chasers and women with it love being chased. i know that in a womens chart it can give a more male esque way of flirting and being agressive but i still think women with this sign like to be chased as well any women would. I still have this picture in my head of men with this sign being the chasers .

I don't. I agree with Ami.

In total.. I am trying to count.. I've known at least 8 people with this Venus who pop into mind, but I am positive there are others.
And they fit that pattern.

This is an impatient placement. The women with this placement cannot wait 2 seconds, for anyone to even have the time to consider pursuing them.
The men with this placement are just as impatient, except - for some reason their 'style' is more so to try and seduce.. and get the girl to chase them (they are very transparent though). Basically, it seems men with Venus in Aries strongly (VERY strongly) sexually desire a woman with aries qualities.. and so they do everything in their power to attract such a woman (who chases them and is very assertive/aggressive) OR .. if they happen to attract a girl who is more passive -- they will do their best to instigate and bring this behaviour *out* in her.
If they truly cannot, they will get annoyed/frustrated.. and eventually give up (but they won't be happy about it). The Venus in Aries guy does not like it when you are not the way he wants you to be (i.e. aggressive) and he *will* hurt you - to make sure you are aware of his disapproval... because after all.. if Mr. Aries Venus is turned on by aggression.. well you bloody well *should* be aggressive -- since as we all know, the world revolves around what he wants and what feels *best* for him.

(On a side note.. This insane impatience is enough to drive a taurus ven/cappy mars like myself *nuts* - even though my sun is Aries)

This behaviour only changes when they have Mars in Aries as well.. in which case it takes over. If this is your guy/girl - then read the Aries Mars interp. (rather than Venus) for romantic behaviour.

Hi! I added to my post ^

I'm sure out of the 6/7 billion people on the planet - there are exceptions (as is always the case with astrology).

But the 8 people I know - are not exceptions.

know that i read your post you do have a point most women with this placement do seem to have the chase them attitude. i mean for example elizabeth taylor and marilyn monroe. they have had many husbands. i must of been blind to not see this.

thanks betty i dont know why but for some reason i always thought of men with this placement as the go getters but maybe thats mars in aries.

you know for some reason i can relate to men seducing instead of chasing. but i can also relate to the chasing and following someones every move etc etc etc.

Lots of Aries friends, and seems to like women who have a good dose of aggressive in them. For the record, I'm Aries Sun & Mars.

wow cosmickarma360 so basically guys with this placement can be aggressivly manipulating.

Cosmic - Was his Sun in Aquarius/Gemini or Aries?

And did he have a strong Mars placement.. either Aries, Capricorn or Scorpio?

Hey!
Out of all the Sun Signs who can have this Venus.. the most masculine are Aries and Aquarius.

Gemini is more androgynous. Taurus and Pisces are very feminine.

I could definitely say that a man with an Aries Sun will not behave the way I described.. (regardless of anything else in his chart).

With Aquarius - I wouldn't be as sure... But I guess there would be a desire to chase, considering how masculine Aqua is... - because it's an air sign and it's ruled by a masculine planet and it's also fixed (so they know what they want and they can get fixated on it.. unlike mutables)

So maybe it's an exception. I don't think I've known any Aquarius men with Aries Venus - only girls.
So I'm not sure.

But I'm pretty sure about Gemini-Taurus-Pisces.

Betty, my Pisces guy with Venus in Aries was very, very masculine.

In regards to women with Venus in Aries - personally speaking, I have no problem doing the chasing, but I really prefer to be chased.

I had a taurus ex with aries in venus and ... I would say, overall, neither one of us was exclusively the chaser or chasee. It was real natural. But she was pretty chill and did not seem too impatient to me and was not at all hard to get. Though she did plant a nice big kiss on me (made the first move) when I awkwardly said: "there was something special between us and.." *kiss

It was sweet.

Come to think of it, she also had mercury in aries as well. Plus leo rising. It was a real energetic affair as we quickly chased each other, lots of neat youthful energy.

edit: I should not say affair, we dated for almost 3.5 years. But I think you know what I mean...

I have Venus in Aries in the 7th.. I like being chased in the initial stages, but then that gets fairly boring to me after a while, and then I like to withdraw and then chase THEM, and I kind of like it to be a really fun, lighthearted cycle of mutual infatuation like that? This is the fire singleton in my chart as well as the only planet in my 7th, so I personally feel like it manifests in a way more graceful way then its being described in this thread by others. I'm not that impatient - if a person is genuinely worth it and I'm enthralled with them, I'll have all the patience in the world. But I am mostly earthy like that. If I'm not interested in someone, I'll nip the whole chase period in the bud asap. Why waste time?

Absolutely. I don't want to hear things you THINK I want to hear - I want someone with a straight up, strong personality who does things on their own accord. Quickest way to win my respect.
