You mention needing to be detached (Aqua rising)... yes.. that is EXACTLY what I need now! I have been caught up in the emotional vortex for too long.. and things are quite stale especially in work and home life (I am probably becoming too emotionally attached to home and work, and ignoring personal relationships). I am moving soon (property settlement went through today!!!) and I feel change is coming in both areas of life, creating a more balancing effect well thats the hope anyway!

I am picky about who I choose as a gf so it will be hard to take your suggestion "don’t be afraid to partner up with someone even if the partner or the circumstances doesn’t come in the package your expect it to. Romance and business alike."

Though it does seem like girls are starting to take notice, but in a more unconventional way (at least for me) than I am used to.

i am scorpio rising and as you wrote, the eclipse last friday had a major effect on my romantic life. that day is when i really started questioning my current relationship and if it's good for me or not, and i conclude with no it's not.
