So I'm a Scorpio and my Sun conjuncts my Mars, Pluto in the 8H & trines my Pisces Ascendant. It's a very intense placement, but I'm curious are these placements something that can "make or break" me? IP: Logged |

I would say use your intuition to guide you toward people who are stable & strong on their own. The weak ones will try to tear you down, you may like them in the beginning, but they are wearing masks. The strong ones will not be intimidated and will treat you as an equal. Stay away from power struggles. If need be you will have to stay to yourself many times, but I really think your spidey senses will guide you if you will listen. It's the Pisces ASC that may lead you astray, v. important here to look to Neptune and its aspects/placement.IP: Logged |

Thanks, but why would Pisces ascendant have a negative effect on these placements? my Neptune is in Capricorn 10H conjuncts Sun/Moon midpoint (2.9) septiles Sun (exact) sextiles Mars (2.8) semi-sextiles Mercury (exact) trines Jupiter (3.0) conjuncts Uranus (3.48) conjuncts North Node (2.43) IP: Logged |

It's not that the pisces would affect those particular placements exactly, it's just the pisces asc all by itself that can be the problem. It is the filter of the chart, so Pisces is indiscriminate and lets in all sorts of riff raff, and when you have placements that show the need to be careful in some areas it is not very helpful, for that. It is helpful, however, in being able to express the scorpionic energy when meeting others in an acceptable way, since it's trine, vs. if the asc were squaring the scorpio from leo or aquarius, then there would be blocks to expression. You'd feel it, and you would hate it, that's for sure.OK, Neptune in Capricorn helps much, also in the 10th is good, both pointing to stable and solid, more so than if Neptune were in a less strong sign. Capricorn is very strong. Strongest signs for future reference are Aries, Scorpio and Cap. I don't see hard aspects to Neptune, unless for some reason it is square the Asc axis? The conj to the NN makes it v. strong in the chart. The trine to Jupiter may have an excessive effect on Neptune ideals, propensities, but overall looks pretty solid. the conj to Uranus gives good business ideas, esp if Uranus is also in the 10th. Very good with that, imaginative business plans, etc. Good for self promotion, esp if the Scorpio placements protect the Pisces Asc. IP: Logged |

Oh I see, I do feel that wishy-washy pisces enegry a lot since I have Pisces moon in the 12H as well. However it does not conjunct my ascendant, & the moon is negatively aspected. I do have Uranus in the 10H - oh & it quintiles my Ascendant (2A), but if we used the whole sign system Neptune & Uranus would both be in the 11th.. not sure which system is best. Great information : ]IP: Logged | |
