They'd all huddle together in their lil cliques, everyone on the defensive.
U.S. country is a Cancer, you know.

Protecting their interests at all costs cos that's what their security depends on. Swooping in to 'help' when not needed or wanted. Everyone clinging to everyone else, lol. Afraid to make a move for fear of the clan deserting them. Afraid to think for themselves cos disagreement makes them anxious, so I guess no one would ever voice dissent.

Oh, but they'd be 'touchy' so that's where arguments would come from. Someone overreacting to someone else supposedly on their turf. Always protective.

No killings of course cos all their anger would be passive aggressive.
EXCEPT for on FULL MOONS lmao! then everyone had better watch out!

It would be easy to know what response you were gonna get cos you'd just have to look at the lunar calendar. Every home would have one, they'd be handed out like telephone directories. Free to the public, of course.

Everything for the babies.
AHHHHH!
It would be babies ruling the place, I can see it now. Day care centers in every workplace, no doubt. No one would shame any woman for breastfeeding in public. Kids could run around and be the kings and queens of the land (in the U.S. they already are, lol). They'd all wear crowns.

No one would be out of work cos Cancer needs the money any which way. They would devise businesses run from the home everywhere, perfect for taking care of the fam and getting the needed moolah.

But then there would be this long silence, when all the crabs go into their shells. They'd call them holidays, where they get to hole up in the designated abodes. Very quiet.

Men would all be allowed their sensitivity, no more macho bs needed, if you act like a gorilla you're on the way out. They have to be excellent providers, or else.

Teachers would be paid much much more, all the helping professions would see a huge rise in salary as they are women's jobs, which are the least compensated currently, so that would be a thing of the past. The glamour of the engineering and tech industry would be replaced by everyone wanting to go into teaching and day care and nursing and hospice for the money, baby!

Yea, it'd be a woman's world.

The roads of course would not be straight lines. They'd meander around curving all along cos Cancer can't go at anything head on. They'd love the long winding drives, almost reaching their destination, yet, not quite. But they'd get there eventually.
Thankfully they wouldn't travel very much because they do not like the unknown. Too scary!!!
That's why they'd all have gardens in their backyards and they'd get their food that way as a trip to the grocery store would just be too intimidating!!!

The real rebels would be the ones going on public transportation and riding on airplanes, they would be seen as throwing caution to the wind

.

I'd much rather live in a world where everyone was a Sagittarius if I had to pick one of these "all the same sign" places

Idk, but hopefully we'd all have some earth or air in our charts to balance out the potential flood? Then again, our dispositor is the fastest moving planet so we'd still proportionately represent every sign.

Might not be a bad place though, maybe a bit subjective but the world is already a little subjective. I'm still all for diversity and the whole melting pot of influences coming together. Then again, because we have so many possible moon signs, we are a diverse group. We're the same at the basic woodwork, but vastly different from person-to-person simultaneously. Probably my favorite thing to observe in practice about us.

I am a Cancer Moon and I am glad that not everybody has the mood swings that I have. That would be a crazier world than it already is.

Smiling, I got this one,

It would be easy to know what response you were gonna get cos you'd just have to look at the lunar calendar. Every home would have one, they'd be handed out like telephone directories. Free to the public, of course.

Full Moons would be especially exciting, everyone would tune in to their TV just to see all the LUNACY at work, lol. Then they'd huddle close to their fam and give them special instructions as to how to protect themselves from these maniacs, and also advice to keep from turning into one
Then the next month the poor kids would see their parents doing something crazy on the full moon, lol. It'd be a continuous cycle.

TBH, I wouldn't wish my moods on anyone else either. I generally keep them to myself in true Virgo Moon ettiquete, but there are others who might project them onto everyone else and that'd be just weird. =___=

Though I do believe that Cancer Sun is different from Cancer Moon in that Cancer Sun has a dispositor in the Moon to filter out the energy somewhere else, while Cancer Moon is its own dispositor and that can be good and bad in some ways. So I guess in this Cancer world you'd probably have people pouring the passion and energy into various areas, and thus things would still be up and running. Aries Moons the motivators, Taureans Mooners the money makers, Gemini Mooners and the thirst for knowledge, Virgo Moons organize and craft everything, Sag Moons the pioneers, Scorpio Mooners getting to the bottom of everything, etc, etc.

I am Cancer Sun... In my opinion Cancer is too sensitive, too clingy, possesive, protective, acting always like a mother with everyone. I'm glad that I have Scorpio ASC. Is better than Cancer in many ways.

Yea, presidents often have strong synastry to the national chart.
BUT BUT BUT
There are many times listed for the U.S. chart, so different Asc.
Lemme find the page on Astrodatabank.. http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Category:Mundane_:_Political_:_Birth_of_State_or_Country

Mundane astrology is the astro of charting countries and reading them as natals, progressing them, doing synastry with them, etc.
If you'd like to visit a country, you wanna see what kind of fit it would be you can do your synastry with a country's natal. You can also do a composite with the country and see if there are any strong conjunctions made from your chart to the composite, the same as with regular synastry.

Here is a book that has many mundane charts,
The Book of World Horoscopes: An Annotated Sourcebook of Mundane Charts,
-Nicholas Campion

You can imagine that there are disagreements as to what chart is 'right', there's often not a consensus here, but you can analyze the different charts and with what you know see what makes sense.
For example some think this one fits for the U.S. with its advance in the telecommunications industry, it shows Mars in Gemini on the Asc. http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Nation:_USA_No.2

The source notes on the mundane u.s. charts are interesting reads.

The July 4 charts all show Merc opp Pluto, lmao.
It will never be lived down

Well, they're both strong, but in different ways.

I think this thread was meant to be amusing rather than overly serious

No different than anywhere else, really. I don't see how that can be regulated to one sign or place.

Again, not a specifically Cancer or American trait, trust me.

Okay, are we talking cancers now or America? You know, this was not always the case. For a long period of time, America was an isolationist country. I would prefer she would return to this state. But, yes, swooping in is not always desired, but, balance the good with the bad. Look at all America has given to the world, especially in areas of modern culture (60s and 70s come to mind). So many things that America did in years past is still being mimicked by countries around the globe today and I've seen it too. So, a cancer "swooping in" is the same. Not all bad.

What do you mean "turf"? I have seen some pretty territorial behavior regardless of sign or location.

What do you mean macho BS? Most men today are a shadow of what men were in years past. The type of men who knew how to be kind of a jack of all trades, a little rough around the edges and tough but with a heart of gold - that ...I don't remember the name of that famous "mans man" who was on all those cowboy flicks.

Excellent providers? Why is that only a cancer trait? Isn't that a dead concept anyway, with the demand for equality (and thus, women capable of (being independent) providing for themselves?

In other words, a world that stagnates and fails to advance. Where infrastructure crumbles - Now why would that be a cancer trait? Seems to me they are at least practical enough to realize the need for more practical professions.

Well, at least I can take this as an amusing thread.
Very thankful for that!

I'd have fun going through the other signs too if given the chance But only if in the right mood

I'm thinking of the torture chambers around every other corner in Scorpio-land. Public beheadings brought back into vogue. They mean business, lol.
The new chic would be a lil scorpion peeking out of your bag instead of a cute lil puppy.

Interesting fun fact (for me atleast): Canada is also a Cancer....our favorite neighbors! Its fascinating since we're very different politically, though we've always been friendly. Though you can see how the Sun fits for both sides of the coin. Guess I'd have to draw up both their charts and compare them someday when I feel like it.

I'd be worried that they'd all stop talking to each other. I'm not sure they could co-exist. I know two Cancers (father-daughter) who have not spoken in 10 years due to a very petty argument.

That is so interesting that you say that Betty Boop. My mom has an older sister who is a Cancer Sun who went like 20 years without talking to her whole family.

My father, my youngest sister, and chain-smoking uncle are all Cancerians as well. Come to think of it, it would be batshit crazy with just them. My Cancer co-workers and friends are better though, except for the one lady in the Nursery who was just up in my grill. *shivers*
