a saturn square pluto is super-tough, I excelled at education but it was a struggle and wore myself out so taking time (saturn) to recuperate (pluto) is what I have done the last couple of years and feel better for it. What are your experiences of individual charts with this aspect or other aspects of saturn pluto? Also what does it mean if your score of saturn and pluto is high for both, does it mean that these issues are more pertinent for you or does it mean you have the strength to deal with them? Does a strong Saturn or strong pluto produce a workaholic?
I can be serious about my work but know how to loosen up afterwards and love music of most types. IP: Logged |

Alone it just refers to being personally caught up in situations that affect the world at large, for better or worse, usually the political situation around the time they were born included some strong type of issue that divided a country (or the world) and changed the political landscape. For example Saturn was opp Pluto during the mid/late 60s when there was that Vietnam rebellion, it was opp during the time of 9/11 attacks. Now, if the Saturn/Pluto in the chart is not in aspect, esp hard, to personal planets, than it's more of a personal political inclination, they want to see things done right and are prepared to fight or do without if need be to get through whatever situations they're faced with. If it's aspect personal planet then they may be forced sometime in their life to make some hard choices about what matters and what they have to leave behind, it could be very painful but it makes them hard like steel. Or things could happen out of the blue and they have to grapple with it, like someone I know born with saturn/pluto conj in Leo and her teenage son died in a car accident and was the only one who got hurt, all the other kids in the car survived. So she did as best she could, she started a scholarship in her son's name at the boys high school and moved on, but it wasn't just any car accident cos her son was at a rave that night at a time when there was a lot in the media about should kids be going to these types of events and the problem re: drunk driving, and in that case the boy was not driving the car but the person who was driving was drunk. So the death involved the politics of the times. Also she has the saturn/pluto conj sq to Venus. It's not gonna be the same in all cases but hard Saturn/Pluto is closely tied to the politics of world events as they affect the individual one way or another. I know of a case with the opp (a celeb), and police came to his home and arrested him on child porn charges which was later found to be untrue but they took his computer and went through all the files, etc. based on a tip, and the political climate at the time was cracking down on child porn, rightly so, but he just got caught up in it in a way that had no merit, it was only because he visited a porn site (as admitted by police) that was owned by the same company that also operated child porn sites, but he visited an adult porn site.

High planetary scores = the issues associated with that planet with respect to sign house and aspects will have added significance in your life, vs. those with lower scores. The lower scored planets won't warrant as much attn, create as much fuss. quote:

More Saturn than Pluto, but not just that alone, there would have to be other factors in the chart at play that pointed to the same outcome, and they would have to be weighted against factors that say the opposite.IP: Logged |

Your findings are spot on, thanks for writing all that. My siblings don't have this aspect and get along just fine. I have it and sometimes have been accused by them of being hard/steel like but it is more circumstance forcing me to be that way and my cancer rising which is tender makes me a softie at times.
So on a personal level yes the whole chart needs to be taken into consideration but this aspect due to the strength of the planets stands out for me for better or worse!IP: Logged |

Thanks for the link,
In synastry this has happened with boyfriends trying to remake me and me violently refusing (not physically) to budge an inch, why should I? I have worked long and hard to improve myself and their suggestions are like a step backwards.
As they are all from the same generation as me I don't understand how we have saturn square pluto but we do, sometimes it goes both ways and sometimes just from them to me.
I would like to try someone from the pluto in virgo or even pluto in leo generation next. Pluto in scorpio doesn't appeal to my pluto in harmony loving libra. IP: Logged |

I get where you're coming from. Early Pluto in Scorp never bodes well for me personally as it's square my Merc. Incorrigible ******** , lol.If you're really sensitive to adverse Saturn Pluto like it sounds, don't forget to look at the composite for that aspect, it can sneak in that way  IP: Logged |

Thanks for that, your observations are spot on again. Have definately had to become more aware regarding picking boyfriends, I haven't given up hope though and know what is wanted (a father figure without being too authoritarian who have chemistry with. Pluto in virgos sound really good bet and have started to think some would touch on my virgo moon pluto conjunction which would be passionate.
