Hi Everyone,
Although I am really grateful for my air grand trines, I really do respect earth, people with earth they bring in the money according to astrology! Reading elsewhere about a lack of grounding, do you think a lack of earth corresponds to this? Like remembering to pay the bills, to be practical, organised, meet deadlines etc.
I have to consciously work on the above it doesn't come naturally and with venus trine neptune as described in the other thread there is even more need to stay grounded. Anyone with an earth emphasis or lack of (extremes) care to comment?
Also if you have a full 2nd/6th or 10th house does this offset it a bit and provide some earth?
I don't want to be stodgy but don't want to be spacey eitherX

I am an earth void so the very 1st thing I look for in charts is voids.
I ask people how the voids play out.Lalalinda helped me to learn to compensate for my void in a number of ways.
See where you have strong placements of planets which rule earth such as Saturn.
I have Saturn conjunct the ASC.
I have a mars trine and a moon trine to it--further strengthening the Saturn. You want to see which earth houses have planets in them.
I only have one planet in the 10th house--that is it. So,for me ,the Saturn is my main earth strength.
Of all my boyfriends, all were earth except 2.
I craved earth in relationships.Now,I don't as much cuz I feel closer to my Saturn as a result of knowing it was there and learning to trust it to give me stability which it has

Being on a different planet I would attribute to a lack of earth or grounding as in not being in touch with reality which is a serious issue and I like to think I am realistic if aspirational. Normally I am objective and don't take things to heart but with neptune square jupiter and the astrology reports of being out of touch with reality that worries me, clairvision says saturn on south node provides some grounding so hopefully it offsets the spaceyness provided by neptune jupiter. So a stellium in one of the earth houses should hopefully address this issue? Thanks for your input AmiAnne, back to work tomorrow so trying to address these issues as soon as possible.

hi there  my best friend is an earth void. i love her so much for it! she is pretty forgetful with things, like me actually lol (so we accept this about each other!) but she is careful with money and pays bills on time so she doesnt get charged late fees or anything. She has an empty second house. ASC - Gemini
Sun - Aquarius
Moon - Gemini
lots of water and fire. her only earth is neptune in capricorn but that is NEPTUNE (the opposite of saturn!) and is a generational influence. She has a packed 8th house though (sun, Venus, Jupiter) so maybe this is why she is so good at paying bills and saving money and being VERY frugal (I mean this in the most loving way! and in fact admire her for it!). She told me the other day how much she had in savings. I was flabbergasted. she is helping ME with money (I am a taurus sun/venus) because i am useless at paying things on time or saving. i am a bit of an air head as well even though i am very fixed sign and taurus.scorpio orientated :P (ASC Aqua, Sun Taurus, Moon Libra - empty 2nd and 8th house) IP: Logged |

I said 8th because that is to do with money as well (but other people's money). She forces her Sag fiance to not spend money. He gives her crap for it but he goes along with it anyway.Oh I just noticed.. her 6th house is packed too -- Mars, Saturn and Uranus -- in fire (Sagitarius) empty 10th house. she will say she will do something and then forget (unless it is to do with money). it's works for us because we are so similar like this being fairly earthy myself, - Sun, venus, jupiter and neptune in earth signs --- i am totally useless with money/paying bills. it escapes me. this has gotten me in trouble (and with saturn transiting 8th house it has bitten me in the butt.. ok lesson learned!)
actually i absolutely detest dealing with money in any way shape or form and think it is the source of all evil (unless of course I am spending it on enjoyable stuff, then it's not so bad lol). my earth jupiter trine my earth venus exact.

Hi there,
I have been helped at work by Taurus and then criticised after, I have been criticised by virgo but forgiven after and capricorns and I tend to clash. The chart interpretation give saturn on south node as plenty of earth element in the psyche, which sounds good if you have to manage the household budget, the mortgage and other finances.
Lately I have rested a lot (good earth emphasis) and taken care of what I eat and hygiene (other earth) but still need to work on using time more effectively and practically. There are just so many pleasurable things to do that work is hard!!Fortunately I have to go to work tomorrow so hopefully will not get sidetracked. IP: Logged |

Hi! Well I have an earth void too, I have no planets in earth signs, my 2nd and 6th houses are empty,the 8th too, I have mercury in 10th. I am not down to earth, I am always on my own planet, doing my things, as I say . But I don't have any problem with deadlines, I'm always on time, reliable as long as someone or something is engaged. I always pay on time and hold on everything I promised I'll do. But for other things such as chores or little things I have to do for myself, that's another story!! lol But I eventually do them, when I feel doing them! I think my void holds much more importance relationships wise. I love earthy people! but they have to have some water too as I also have a lack of water! Every people I deeply care about has a lot of earth and water in their charts. IP: Logged |

I definately appreciate having earth people around (well taurus and virgo, and less so with capricorns). With a cancer ascendant there is tenderness which is why criticism however well meant can hurt but is necessary to progress. The cancer being opposite cap can also explain the tension there. My grandfathers were both taurus and so steady that is comforting to someone like me and not boring because I wasn't always around them. My sisters have a lot of earth and though we are not close together anymore I love them a lot. However all my boyfriends even though not capricorn signs have had a capricorn emphasis either through progression, aspect or a strong saturn, which is like a father figure and definately like the father figure aspect just don't like coldness/criticism. so I guess looking to fill that earth void (no i don't have a hole that needs filling up!!!) and all the ones that have been long term I have had deep feelings for that lasted (venus trine saturn).
I do feel that earth element needs to come from within rather than relationships though and this is what I need to work on as by progression I have less signs in the earth house.IP: Logged |

I checked your other thread again and it seems you do lolOk - so.. having a Virgo Moon - you do not lack earth.
Sun/Moon/AC are all very significant in personality and overall behaviour. Plus, on this thread you are being self-analytical in way that is Virgo-like!  However, your Moon is a singleton. This can put an emphasis on Moon-like traits... in other words, Cancerian behaviour. Coupled with your AC it gives you a double dose of Cancer. Have you ever read about singletons?

so that's what i can blame it on, a lack of earth?! awesome haha I do only have two planets in earth, but one of them is my moon.
I'm so used to not having any money that it kind of freaks me out having it in abundance. then again, i believe that money should be used to live life, not always hoarding in anticipation, so if i actually do manage to accumulate some money, i'll usually justify spending it on various things that i've had my eye on. One time I just decided to travel with it and went dirt broke and came back with just $5 in my pocket and nothing in my bank account.IP: Logged |

I dont have any planets in earth... I do have Dsc in Virgo... LOL... My Leo is also in H6... Money is not a priority for me.. Yes you need it to survive. Thats not what I mean.. What I mean is I have no desire for designer bags, or shoes.. I dont shop by name brand.. I buy what I like and for comfort.. I live pretty modest... I dont a big place..
I live with just whats needed...
With a few toys on the side.. The things that I really spend money on, is going places..
Id rather spend money on experience than a purse..
BUT I just progressed to a Cap moon, and Im feeling it.. Ive been buying LOTS of clothes and omg SHOES, spending money to get my nails done.. and pampering... lol

The person with no Earth may be obsessed with money, sex and food, any one or all of these things. She may, for instance, be overweight through overeating (food addiction, an Earth problem), while being a stickler for detail when it comes to keeping her house neat and tidy (a Virgo trait), and balancing her checkbook each week (a Taurus tendency).

I'm almost all Earth with me except I have a little air and fire in my chart. With the exception of a Scorpio Pluto, I have no water signs at all but I definitely enjoy the opposite attraction whether it's friends or romantic interest. HI Betty Boop,
I have read the moon as singleton and love playing with children and get really good comments from others about it. I also get people who are not in touch with their 'inner child' telling me to 'grow up' (only occasionally) so this goes with the interpretation of moon as singleton. Not sure I like being a double dose of cancer to be honest but will have to get over it. It does explain my attraction to scorpio men (cancer and scorps go well together sometimes). Hi there,
How does the neptune singleton play out in your life?
Are the other planets in water, air and fire? How do you find that?
With it being in the 7th and in capricorn are you looking for serious, stable partners and do you have rose coloured glasses on(neptune)? Or does it manifest differently.
Read somewhere that the outer planets in the relationship houses push the boundaries in love. I have progressed neptune in 5th thats about merging into bliss, when you merge into something less than bliss it is a HUGE WAKE UP CALL!!!
