so setting the place differently and making a "natal" is not good then? i still wonder what astro's relocation chart does.

anyone else who works with relocation charts?

i think i got the same results. using reference place and just changing the place. i think using a reference place is just a more systematic method for them.

I dont know about career, but jupiter in cancer in 11 couldnt be any better. the house of good fortunes and dreams coming true.

i see your saturn in 1st,but your saturn is not afficted. you may need for some time structure. i guess the impact has been because your stellium was first in first house and now you have saturn solo.

but your venus conjunct the 5th, not bad. it makes an aspect with your moon from the 9th. wondering if has to do with affection with people from different from you in terms of mindset, phylosofical views..

your chart ruler (relocated) is the sun, in 5h (again a fortunate house for the sun, specially being your chart ruler)...

pluto in 10 in your natal give you a lot of drive and need for power, but I dont know, my intuition tells me that the place you are now is that bad. probably you want to see the current transits. probably is the transits to your new locartion.

mars in cancer in in 12 not good either. i have mars in cancer in 12 inthis on my relocation chart, but near AC, so it gives me lot of energy.if you feel tired and without energy it may be the combination of saturn in 1 mars in 12, if that affects you much, yes, i would consider to move from there.

anyway, this seems as a temporary place or a place you will never feel at home. with uranus conjuct your IC.

Relocation chart is a chart of your natal, but a different place instead of your birth place. This is the wrong way to do astrology as your natal chart is fixed at your birth place.

The way to find compatibility is not through relocation charts or astrocartography, but doing a synastry chart with the country/city natal chart.

fourth huouse. thinking about Morin. he said that when u have several planets in a house look at the position in the house. thinks start with uranus shaking it, but then, you have neptune (ruler of your 7th in the reloc chart) having all good aspects and specially with the moon and then venus as well. according to morin, things start with the first planet and finish with the last. so, even if uranus will shake your sense of hominess, you may end up liking it. (this is my interpretation, given that venus is at the end of the house)

what they do is (if you change the reference place to the place you want the relocation) then run the relocation chart and you get the chart. it will be the same as your natal except that houses will change

I think that's the same thing as the reference place used by astro. Anyways, my Cancer planets got moved to the 10th house, with Chiron conjuncting the MC. Its a small town so people recognize me because I work at the one place they frequent most due to their bad eating habits and resulting health issues. And I also worked at a popular restaurant before that.

My ASC is in Libra squaring my watery sun, so the issues from the other thread still apply...but now there's no common point. smh

Coffee, to make a compatibility chart with another, one would need the time of birth, no? do i just set it to noon?

also, with old cities i don't really know how to look up the date of their establishment. how do i go about that?

nordicsoul, i got an idea and did transits on the relocation charts themselves and i came up with an interesting results!

here are 3 relocations charts from my past (bad experience), now (terrible experience, getting better), and future (where i plan to move within the next 2 years) locations, WITH the transits at the time of i was, am, will be, there.

These cities are all in different countries but all within the same continent, so not that different from each other. but i think the transits ARE the key. they give insights different from the transits to Natal.

this is the chart with the place where i lived 2006-07. i was REALLY determined to make it there, but i met so many oppositions, injustice and torment from their system and bureaucracy there, that i physically became ill from all the stress. i left after a little over 1 year, ended up HATING everything about the country to the point of irrationality.

I was going through my Saturn return then, but now i see that this Saturn return was on my AC in the relocation chart!! no wonder…

but then, Jupiter was moving through the relocation 4th house. it WAS a big move for me. It just didn't work out.

now to the current place…

this is where i am now. the transit if for today. i came here 4 years ago. it didn't work out immediately, but then finally i officially started living here 2 1/2 years ago. roller-coaster hell. it's finally starting to get calmer and i am finally hopeful. i think if i didn't die during this phase (at least psychologically, if not from malnutrition ), i can survive anything. LOL

i don't know about the transit but that 12th house Saturn on AC doesn't sit well with me. tr. Pluto had been squaring it too.

now finally, my dream location!

i have always been a pretty compulsive mover. i just moved to totally new countries without much preparations (why i do that, i dunno. too Sagi-heavy a guess), but THIS TIME i am going to take time and really cook it before i eat it! i'm giving myself 2 years of time. so in the meantime i am staying in my current city.

so i just set the transit date to exactly 2 years from now.

now look here… actually this relocation chart doesn't look much different from the first chart… but the transits are different (naturally).

tr. NN is exactly on IC. also Mars, Jupiter and Mercury are all hanging out in the 11th house. i'm not sure about the Sun just entering the 12th house, but then, it may not be the exact month i'll be moving there anyway…

btw nordicsoul, you mentioned my perhaps needing structure and having Saturn in the first, i think that is a good thing. i do need structure. i'm too chaotic and impulsive, or otherwise cowardish and loving comfort zones to move my butt.

eta: on the other hand, tr. Uranus will be opposing the IC ruler Pluto. all the planets around the 11th house will be squaring it too. mmmm...

actually, my "career" revolves around my creative works, so i suppose it is good to have Sagittarius (my Natal AC/Sun) at the 5th house cusp with a few of those important planets in there in my "future" relocation chart...

but firts i kind of have to establish myself at my current location. at my current location, 5th house ruler is THAT Satun in 12th house at AC... maybe having the NN in the 2nd house is good for saving up for the move?
