Pretty accurate, I do find myself talking about places of confinement (I know a lot of people that work in hospitals or go to prison) or people that are on the fringe of society. Although this could be attributed to having my Sun and Mercury in the 12th house as well... IP: Logged |

You have a distinctive way of speaking and/or writing.People know you from this.Your way of getting approval in a group is through being outgoing and friendly."i have this too like a lot in this thread. i do think i could be an okay newsman but then i kinda don't care what's going on around me. but i have great hair, plus saturn in the first gives me an air of integrity even though i dunno what the hell i'm talking about. The activities of the 3rd house serve the agenda of the 1st house. Communicating and learning about the daily environment helps form our personality. All of the daily comings and goings of life impact our persona- the way we present ourselves, our mannerisms and behavior. Communication is at the forefront of our personality. Talking, writing, singing, gossiping, and diary writing are a part of our personality. These activities are among the first that people notice about us. The connections we make on an everyday basis inform our personality and view on life. We make connections to reinforce our self image. What we have to say about things is right up front. Our communication affects our self-image. We’re talkative. Our ability to communicate affects how we feel about ourselves. Our communication style affects how others see us. Siblings impact our self-image. Early education experiences shape the way that we present ourselves. We like to talk about ourselves. Hmm not so sure on this. I have h3 ruler which is Merc conj my Dsc and what happens is that I think about other people a lot, and ask them a lot of questions about themselves, more interested in others and how they tick and that their opinion is on various matters. I just like to get a wide view.
But I do like to have relationship updates.

Me.  (intercepted ruler of 3rd in 1st house conjunct ASC and NN).oh and probably also visions / ideals / groups / friends etc. as the main ruler of 3rd is on the cusp of 11th house. BTW I am not very outgoing and extrovert, but extremely curious and interested. IP: Logged |

^you know mine is intercepted too by my 2nd house sag. if i read the interception it would be ruler of 3rd in house 3 coz jupiter is in that house. i have a lot of aspects that say communication is important in my life. my pof is in this house conjunct jupiter. my node is in gemini. my sun/ venus trine this house. i also think it is the solution to my t-squares as i read it in a diagram. Yes Saturn would take away some of your sponataneity.
Saturn tells you to "Do it Right" "Don't be silly" "Grow up" etc
So, you would not be as free and spontaneous in your expression of yourself as someone without Saturn in the 3rd ------------------

You're so right, Ami. The moment I have an impulse or urge, Saturn tries to kill it and make me rethink. I miss my old me when I had Venus, the ruler of the 3rd, and Jupiter in the 3rd. Having Jupiter opposite Saturn helps in any way?
