"R of 4th in 2nd You want to make money from your home based business. This could be child care, dog sitting, catering from your own home."maybe. but those don't exactly sound like huge money makers lol! dog sitting? i should buy more dogs! The activities of the 4th house serve the agenda of the 2nd house. Familial relationships, cultural inheritances, and family traditions serve our physical security and survival needs, for better or worse. The familial relationships we develop must meet our survival needs. Family, culture and tradition affect how physically secure we feel. Our cultural traditions are oriented to making money. The traditions we grew up with inform our values. Family tells us how we should make a living. Our capacity for quiet inner work is focused on creating financial security. We bring our private inner life to the realm of making a living. We have traditional views about money and personal values. Everything that went into building the foundation of our personality affects our feelings of grounded security. Our approach to finance is clan-conscious. We approach our value system with our cultural upbringing in mind. We like to make domestic purchases. We like buying things for the house. Family life creates the urge to own things. Having a family affects the way we look at money. Having a family makes us question our survival needs. Having a family gives shape to our personal values. We find emotional security through owning material things. Home is a place where we collect things. Home is a possession. Owning a home makes us feel physically secure. Our country should be a place that espouses our personal values. Our country is a place that should make us feel safe and should take care of our survival needs. Somewhat it fits but not completely. My idea of home in my early life was a place where I could concentrate on learning, but I always felt I would find my true home somewhere else, somewhere very far. My life is about many things but one of them is finding a place I belong to. I'm half Sagittarius. IP: Logged |

Maybe this explains why all my guests think they're in a restaurant or staying over at a hotel, cos I serve them everything and pick up after them like a maid, lol, but it's MY home and I don't feel like they should be doing any housework there or getting their own food, etc. that I should be the one serving them, picking up their spills, washing their clothes if they spend the wknd, etc. It works in reverse too, if I'm spending the night at someone's home I am careful not to mess anything up or touch just anything, cos that is their space, so I let them set the rules. Haha, I knew I was funny in that way but didn't think about house correspondence. It's funny to me to be at people's houses and they say 'just help yourself' I get stunned into silence, just staring and don't know where to turn IP: Logged |

does this placement brings detachment in relationship with parents and siblings? i always wanted to make my home far far away from my family, not because i don't love them, just because i like being in a place where i have nothing to worry about, where i can just sit and read and think and find answers IP: Logged |

Well, I think this placement just speaks to what YOU need. However, the 9th house is opposite the 3rd. So,it is opposite the house of siblings. In that sense, it makes sense lol ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. My ruler of the 4th is Aquarius in the 3rd. I do enjoy looking at houses, and I LOVE cooking shows; I've loved them since I was 4. hahaha. the "home" is important to me; I idealize it a lot. I'm not sure if I like talking about it per se- maybe when I'm out of college this will apply more? IP: Logged |

i'm going to try the houses cafe astrology gave me as i don't connect so much with rulers of houses iv been doing using equal lately. weird that would mean i have no aqua. pls tell me if i am doing this right. my houses are like this: I in Scorpio II in Sag III in Sag IV in Capricorn V in Pisces (No Aquarius?) Ruler of 4th in 1st for me as Saturn rules Cap and it is in the 1st. this feels more likely than the doggy day care tho nice idea. The ruler of the 4th in the 1st You like to show off your actual home. You like people to compliment you on it.You feel it reflects who YOU are IP: Logged |
