Hi! I was wondering if any of you knew what it means to have pluto opposite your ascendant. I can't seem to find much information on the web about it. Thanks!

I will look tomorrow. You have a water void. Please tell me how emotions feel to you.Do you cry?
I am an earth void. The water void seems very sad to me.
I had a horrible tragedy and could not cry.I love tears.
Could you explain how the water void manifests in your life

I'm actually very emotional, but I don't allow myself to be that way in front of others. I don't allow myself to cry in public, since I consider it a sign of weakness (might have to do with my Aries sun).

hmmm I wouldn't be so sure.
I'm a watery Aries (with Pisces/Neptunian influence). I don't see it as a sign of weakness. I also don't care much about people's opinions re: my own state of mind/my feelings and the way I choose to express them.

I've always thought it was my sun, but if it's not, what could it be?

About Venus opp Pluto. It's interesting to have this exactly conj the AC/DC axis.
I have Venus on NN (Taurus) opposite Pluto on SN (Scorpio).

You might identify with one side of the opposition (usually Venus) and shut out the other side.
Since Venus is conj your AC this is emphasised for you.. You see Venus clearly as a part of your personality. You might relate to the Libra description of charm and grace.

When you are too Venusian - you end up attracting people/men who play out Pluto for you... who are very controlling/critical and end up hurting you emotionally. You need to own up to your own inner strength and never give that away.

I feel weird saying this to a person with Sun conj Mars in Aries (because this is a 'tough' placement)... but -- romantically (and only on this level) it's possible a part of you wants to be the damsel in distress, waiting for a knight in shinning armour to rescue her.

With Venus/Pluto - the sooner you realise that you are both the princess and the knight in this story (and that no one but *you* is going to save *you*).. the better.

This is based on my own experiences with the opposition.

Well, it could be the fact that your Sun is more 'obvious' because of the conjunction to Mars.
It could also be the lack of water!

I do relate to Libra because of this. In fact, I feel like a Libra instead of an Aries most of the time.

Yes, I've gotten in an argument after the break up with all of my exes.

How is this a 'tough' placement?

Thank you so much to make us know this Website hold by this famous astrologer, Donna Cunningham. A treasure trove of insightful articles. Look at the one called “understanding narcissism” ;-)

Btw, I have Venus square Pluto and I can see similarities between me and Antonio Banderas...or Britney Spears, I do not know...haha

What I see on the pictures is that all men have in common a gaze peering behind appearances and a potential for being very close emotionally to people if wariness is overcome. While women on the pictures seem to be more into the desire for emotional intimacy and closeness, and it seems it is never close enough for them (Pluto).Look at the gesture of Glenn Close betraying obsession, lol.

it's interesting glen close has that venus pluto aspect and played that part in fatal attraction so well. not saying we're crazy stalkers or anything lol!

i actually have somewhat the reverse of nicole. but same asc/ dc axis. pluto in 1st conj asc in scorpio opposite venus in 7th conj dc in taurus. okay now this one i'm sure i have haha!

btw does one side always have to win? venus or pluto.

Oh, yes, you have Venus opposite Pluto, I did not remember! I think as Betty Boop wrote, there must be some love involved for Pluto to be aroused in ourselves. It may be quite dormant till we fall in love and then: Bam! The obsessive drive shows up.

Hi there,
I have natal venus biquintile pluto tight 0 degree exact and by progression venus opposite pluto which has been ongoing for about 10 years or so. It makes me very passionate towards lovers and I expect them to respond with the same level of passion otherwise prefer being single. Yours is on the opposite axis to mine (1st-7th and mine is 10th to 4th). I haven't had too many people making advances at work thank goodness for regulations! There is quite a bit on the net about venus pluto opposition and it really helps to make a person more aware of the energy. Regardless of signs and houses though the key word for this aspect is passion! (and all the positive and negative outcomes of passion).
