Let's take the case of J.Lo who announced today her divorce by Mark Anthony. She has Venus in Gemini in 9th house with 7th house empty with Aries on cusp.
Judging by this case, Venus in Mutable Signs could be an indicator for multiple marriages?

Only one of them may not show multiple but together they have a point

-Mutable signs on 7th house cusp.
-Jupiter in 7th
-Many mutable traits on person in natal chart
-Venus in mutable signs(especially gemini and sagittarus)
-Uranus in 7th(maybe ?)

She is fickle. Gemini Venus, that is...
Strong indictor for me would be H7 Jupiter.

The mutable signs, venus in Gem and too much mutability i can understand but Jup in 7th i cannot follow. Any reasons pl? Why Jupiter of all planets in the 7th is going to affect? I mean how.

Good, but what if X has Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Pisces, Moon in Virgo and Mars in Saggitarius? Is prone to many marriages? Thanks.

because the native will have too much candidate for marriage. Ofc it does not mean it will marry with all but with the other factors still it shows multiple marriages. I also wrote "only one may not show" =)))

Pisces is most innocent mutable sign. So it depends on houses also other aspects.

Innocent pisces is still mutable pisces so multiple marriages could apply there as well.

Hmm... All these planets are squaring Saturn in natal. Dunno about the houses because I don't have TOB.

I always get a bit offended when people say Gemini Venus is fickle. Fickleness, like most things, is in the eyes of the beholder. Some people are more emotional/attached than others. Some people are more conservative than others.

I am steadfast in my relationships, although I have no problem dropping any friendship immediately if I see fit.

I have Gemini Mercury conj Mercury Venus in the 9th house. Aries DSC with Pisces Mars in the 5th. 5th house ruler is Sag Uranus conj Sag Saturn in the 3rd.

I've had 3 boyfriends in my lifetime (23), and only a handful of long-term crushes. I've been with my Cancer for 2 years now and we were friends for 2 years before that. I do not intend on getting divorced because I never intend on getting married to someone unless I've known them for at least 6 years or more.

I would also like to add that divorce is never one person's fault, so looking at one person's natals is futile. Perhaps we should be studying indications of divorce between two individual's synastry instead.

I don't think I'd ever enter a marriage unless I was certain that I would never divorce the person. I've only had 1 long term relationship, and I have more celebrity crushes than RL crushes (which I can probably count on one hand).

Gemini Venus/5th house (Unaspected)
Moon in Virgo/8th aspected by Neptune, Mercury, and Pluto
Saturn/Uranus conjunct in Sagittarius 12th house(Chart ruler)

Of course, most energies have many ways of manifesting themselves which is why I don't completely rule out the possibility of mutable love planets and points = multiples in partners, lovers, whatever. My dad has the same Moon and Venus as I do and is on marriage #2.

Thanks Mert. Somehow i can't see Jupiter doing anything negative you know. Talk of biases.

Looking at her chart, Gemini on the 7th cusp, prominent mutable signs and that Uranus conjunct Venus in Aries...

My mom's been married 5 times. She's a Capricorn but I don't know her other info so I don't know about the rest of her chart. I could ask her if anyone were really interested.

Oh, and I am a Gemini Venus in the 11th house. I'm 39 and entering my 2nd - AND LAST - marriage. As far as I'm concerned it's my REAL first marriage. We've been together 4 1/2 years and I don't think you could find anyone more loyal and LESS fickle than I am with him.

My first marriage was just a huge mistake done for the wrong reasons (I was pregnant and scared).

I'm sure Gemini Venus doesn't account for 50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages that end in divorce.

Also notable, at least 66 per cent of all divorced couples are childless.

There are a few good resources on stats for divorce here: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=363986

In short, lay off Gemini Venus. We have more on our minds than smelling every flower in the flower bed, or so to speak. Nor are all of us fickle. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm planning a trip to study marine life at the local tidal pools with my Cancer, who also has Gemini Venus.
