After researching the forums a bit, I discovered that Leo Suns with their Venus in Cancer loves attention. Yet, they still like the cat and mouse game. I have to make it known that he's a prize and that I'm of the same worth? How would I approach this? I work as a waitress/promoter so I get asked out nearly every night and he knows this. Instead of telling him that I like him a lot, would rephrasing it into, "You stand out from the rest" be better or is that still too much flattery? The Cancer Venus is really throwing me off with this one! His Moon is in Virgo as well.

I ask a lot of questions about guys (hehe) but this one is the one that has me up all night. I've been smitten by this guy for a while and fate gave us the opportunity reconnecting the other day. I never have anyone as a center focus so it kind of scares me! We hit it off great. He asked to hang out again, kissed me good night and has me feeling silly counting down every second until his next phone call. Of course, I'm taking this with a pinch of salt, but this isn't the type to just say that, right?

Here's our synastry if anyone's willing to read more into it: http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/1854/synr.jpg

Thanks!

Im a Leo Sun with Venus in Cancer..

I do like the cat and mouse games

I would tell someone I want to hang out.. Thats not really putting your self out there..

The cancer hides in a protective shell, so I wouldnt say/show how interested I am.. I would just have a yeah it's cool attitude..

In my personal opinion the "attention" thing is overboard... Yes give attention, but dont over do it (as with anyone)
The way the attention/compliments work for me,is just sweet little comments..

A guy I dated before told me I was a "good girl" for something I did.. It was as simple as that..

I sooo loved that!
Because that venus wants to pleaseeee...

A guy cant really tell me, I want to be with you blah blah blah.. I'm so gone, if he does.. I dont want to hear it..
You want to be with me, then show it.. Let me figure it out.. Let me decided if YOUR the one I want to be with.. ( I want to be the picker.. lol)

I wouldnt tell him you stand out.. (not yet) be more Chantal. Tell him "Wow.. your so cool to hang around with"
but be prepared hes sooo going to want to know why... Tell him something, but leaving him curious (wanting to know more) drives me NUTS.. Makes me go back.. SOO you will tell.. I wanna know! lol

If he "knows" he has you, he's not challenged... Keep in challenged. Get him to use his creativity to get you interested...
Because he wants you to be interested... Then he will decided if he is or not...

As a Leo I want everyone to be interested.. All it the Leo lineup ( ok bad, Leo..bad leo) then I will decided who I like..

I will pick the one that challenges me the most..

Also if you don't mind me asking...
This guy said he was going to call but I would love to hang out with him soon. Would it turn you off/make you less interested if the person approached you first. Should I wait for him to make a move?

I wrote this a while back ago on the How to attract a Leo.
================================================

Ok ask and you shall receive..

I will let you guys in on the inner me.. What attracts me...

But of course I cant speak for every Leo or maybe even Leo Men...

So here goes...

I really do like the challenge.. I like to sit and watch and learn.. Think of it as watching prey.. hahahha

While Im learning a few things, I will throw in lilttle hints about well how adorable I am.. (ok lol.. I know.. I know)

Im doing this to see his reaction.. Is he receptive or not...
If not... Makes me crazy... Makes me work even harder...
Now I have to get creative to get his attention... ( I secretly love it)
I have to prove to him, now how adorable I am..
If he gives me nothing at all back.. I shrug and walk away..
If he gives me a small hint of attraction.. I feel even more challenged and want even more PROVE what I great person I am..
I know its sounds conceited. but in reality all I want to do is please... The way for me to please is to be the best.. (leo ego..lol)

So to get my atttention, he has act only somewhat interested, make me get creative capturing my prey

Now once I capture him, and he's full on.. Im bored and Im gone..
He needs to keep me challenged...
Basically he needs to subtly tame me so to speak.. Then when I do a good job, or when Im a good girl throw me a small treat!! (lol)
Make me work and be creative for my treats!

Hi Lioness!

This comment caught my attention!

Is this so about the venus??? If so, it explains a lot and puts a puzzel very much together for me!

My venus is on my ascendant (12th) house. It has many times been insinuated - if not outright stated - that I am "a pleaser".

To make matters worse, even though this statement has sometimes been applied with an amount of condescension, my response generally is - "who wouldn't like to please others - its's simply lovely!"

This brings me to the next question (assuming we are in agreement so far), if the venus is challenged, does this perhaps affect our confidence to adequately please others? If this is so, does our confidence and self worth (venus) come then from our ability to please others?

While I might be making a simplified leap that may be too basic, hopefully my connection here is understood

Any thoughts?

(my venus is square my moon btw)

My venus is afflicted with a T-square Venus/Pluto/Jupiter.. But with all that Leo my confidence is not affected.. Because I already know I can... (LOL) But its "if I want to, and they play my way) (hey I have ALOT of LEO.. what can I say)

OOo I so wanna please Yeah I would say thats a cancer venus thing..
I want to walk... Hummm how can I say this...
With the guy thinking hummmmmm... WOW what an experience... lol (so to speak)

The Gem I dated we both have Venus in Cancer, and its funny when you think about it, the way we were with each other... Is was like let me please you first, no let me please you first.....
It was a sort of battle (in a good way) on who's going to please whom first.
