Backstory:

-I've spent two weeks recovering from the hurricane-like aftermath of the recent solar eclipse.
-I handed in my Resume to my boss and her answer is now the reason I'm not wanting to dissolve anymore...I do know where I'm working after I get licensed next month. My Natal 6th house ruler is in the SR 5th house, pretty much confirming that.
-And yes, I AM passing the NCLEX next month because if I think any other way, I'll fail.
-I have accumulated 5 speeding tickets in the same 12th month span...creating huge legal bills. Yes, I am a 3rd house Aries Mars...and a Rhode Islander.

But I do see Jupiter in the 1st, which seems like a lucky placement to me. I have that in my natal chart. Maybe your luck will turn in some way (Jupiter rules your solar 8th) so maybe issues with money and sex will improve.

I also noticed Saturn in the 6th. My solar return chart from last year had Saturn there and I remember reading someplace that that could mean something about experiencing new medical issues like a new infection or condition not experienced before. Or that may have been the interpretation for having Mars there, can't remember. I think Mars there can contribute to getting lots of cuts or bruises during that year. But I can say that I am convinced now that I don't want either Mars or Saturn in my solar 6th anymore. Nothing major happened but I did have an infection earlier in the year that I hadn't had before. Nothing bad just annoying.

Also I noticed Mercury opposite Neptune, so I'm guessing communication difficulties, Inability to clearly express yourself or maybe just lots of daydreaming!

As for medical issues? My back pain has returned, though I think it may be just the need to lose more weight. I'm small boned so even being just a little overweight has dire effects. I hope its nothing more serious than that.

I don't like that trine with Uranus and I don't care that it's a trine. Since it went into Aries for good the energy has changed so much and seems so difficult to handle. Jupiter on the ascendant could give lucky breaks, but also watch your weight... I also see mood swings and disappointments, emotional ones.

Also your mercury is in fifth. I had that during a fun year, full of lots of games and jokes. I wouldn't be surprised if you felt some of that even if your aspects are on the harsh side.

I have a few questions about my SR chart:

I've read somewhere that venus is supposed to smooth things in the area of the chart it touches. Even though the venus aspects are harsh, do you think having venus will smooth things over in my 10th house?

Do you think things will move forward in my love life? I've looked at my solar return for next year and I'm thinking that might be a bigger year for love since I have venus, jupiter and the moon in the seventh house ... Do you think there's a chance that this yet might build up on next year? At least this year I have a planet in my seventh house, even if its uranus. And my moon is at the end of my fourth house, can it be counted as being in my fifth house? What about having juno on the ascendant?

So I'm really glad I tried seeing how the SR chart relates to the natal chart. I'm really happy you suggested it because I've never thought of it before and it's definitely something I'm going to do from now on.

I did it for the last year (2010) first. 2010 was really a terrible year for me. You can kind of see why from the SR, but things make so much more sense if you look at the SR and Natal together. So yeah, if anyone is doing their SR, they should also do their natal chart too, you get a much better picture.

2010 Solar + Natal

A few themes
-My ascendant for the year is on my sun/moon midpoint
-does anyone know what this means?
-I'm guessing it means a fateful year

Career confusion and trauma
-a mixture of restrictions, fate, blessing, emotions, the career and the unexpected
-red cluster
-N moon and N true node conjunct SR jupiter, uranus, and MC ALL oppose SR saturn in the 10th house!

Overload on the IC/MC axis
-in 2010, my sense of self, career, ideas about love, partnership and hope/fear for the future were all mixed up
-a lot of small things happened along the way (and it definitely feels like fate played a hand in this), but the relationships still hasn't moved
-look at the light pink cluster around the MC/IC axis
-N juno conjunct natal IC conjunct SR chiron and SR neptune ALL oppose SR venus and SR moon

Career rehab?
-last year's cluster on the fourth house has eased a lot (the area is shown in red)
-now we have N moon and N true node conjunct SR uranus ALL oppose SR Juno and ASC (10th house)
-I'm not really sure what this means?, but it looks a lot more harmonious than last year (and that's even with me having a SR uranus in the picture)
-maybe fate is stabilizing the partnerships within my career or I'm finding a partner in my career?
-yellow clusters, I'm happy to see my SR jupiter in sixth house and SR MC conjunct natal chiron

IC/MC axis settles down
-there's a lot less energy here than last year, so I'm hoping it won't be as much of an issue as last year, the SR venus is out of the config and its now conjunct N venus so hopefully it'll bless my love-live
-now we have N juno conjunct IC onjunct SR chiron and SR neptune

Love life
-now my SR venus is conjuncting my N venus
-I didn't include an opposition to SR pluto, because it didn't seem as exact as last year, do you think I made the right call?
-last year my SR Juno and ASC conjuncted my N venus, you still have energy around my N venus, but it's different, so hopefully my love life will move forward
