So I get this cryptic message from my SO today posted on my FB wall. My first thought is "wth???" & then finally thinking why couldn't he have simplified that & just plainly say what he wanted to say?

"Four letters you'll abhor the antonym a homo phob spirit phoebe scream n free me Penitentia​ry Exo placid inter savage faux not plastic metaphoric ​ constant calculated ​ contradict​ion"

Is this the way that aspect works? I find it endearing but so strange sometimes that he can't just be more direct.

Lol...you all feel the same way I do. He's always cryptic with messages. "Four letters you'll abhor" = I love you.
Exo placid= inside stormy
Inter savage= outside tamed
Faux not plastic= real but impressionable
I had to reference a dictionary for heaven's sake.

He sounds like such a tortured soul with his irreverant wordplay...lol. all I can do is shake my head & smile.

How did you interpete it lovie?

Was wondering too, is your mercury in cappy?

He would probably like to mental spar with you - can you respond possibly with an equally cryptic message to him? It would/might need to have some logic to it though

If you cannot, perhaps equally appropriate would be to just respond by telling him he's a spazzo. He'll prolly find this flattering, haha..

I have cappy mercury hence the confusion- he's an aquarius mercury. For me some things are black & white and he says all things are gray areas. We had a huge argument about it...lol

We mentally spar all the time. We have a strong intellectual rapport but he's off the deep end sometimes...lol. The only thing my mind could come with as a reply was to say "cryptic & daunting...lol"
