For example, if you had Venus in the 4th house, less than 5 degrees from the 5th house,Would it affect the fourth house, the fifth house, or both? If it affected both, which one would it affect the most? The one it is closest to or the one it is in? IP: Logged |

I wonder if Venus would become a bridge for the two Houses. "Your historical foundations (4th House) support the valuing of (Venus's sign), expressed creatively, playfully, or with children (5th House)". What do you think? IP: Logged |

I have Sun/Saturn on the 11th-12th cusp, technically in 12th.I have Mercury on my Asc, in 1st. I have Jupiter close to my 2nd house cusp, in 2nd. I have Moon conjunct my Dsc, in 7th. Now, my Sun sometimes acts like an 11th house Sun. Saturn acts like a 12th houser, while they are less that 1 degree conjunct. Mercury acts like both 1st house and 12th house. Mostly 1st house though as it is conjunct my Asc and therefore ever present and very prominent. Jupiter acts like a 2nd house one and I don't really have the feeling it would act like a 1st house Jupiter, but truth be told I'm not sure what that would be like. Moon definitely acts like a 7th house Moon. Perhaps also a bit like a 6th house one but again, not sure what that would be like. So, imho it depends... On the position? Sun and Mercury did have the closest orbs, but Saturn too (although Sun got there first). Jupiter has quite a wide orb compared to all the others. Perhaps it depends on what influences you allow yourself to have, since the chart is only a blueprint. If you're raised in an environment which for some or other reason would suppress for example a Mars in 3rd, it could compensate by expressing itself more in it's 4th house position when it's on the cusp.
Just brainstorming, of course. ------------------ [Insert catchy signature here.] IP: Logged |

Maybe, I actually have Venus in the 12th, 1 degree away from the 1st, and since the 1st and 12th houses are so different from each other, being so far away, yet so close to each other, how would Venus build a bridge?

I have Venus in 7th, 2 degrees away from 8th house, I treat it like an 8th house Venus...Uranus exactly on 9th cusp, so it's H9, Mercury exactly on 10th cusp, so it's H10...if it's more than 1-2 degress away from the next house, I don't think it affects it that much...IP: Logged |
