Say for example, the girl had Venus trine neptune and the boy had Venus opposite neptune? How could these natal aspects play out in the relationship? Would venus-neptune aspects take on a bigger role than usual in the relationship? Could her soft aspects balance out his harsh aspects? Let's expand the topic to other aspects in the natal chart. What about the combination or soft-soft aspects between relationships partners? Or hard-hard combinations? What have your experiences been like?So interested in discussing this

If they both natally resonate to Venus/Neptune, then those themes would be emphasized in their relationship. I find that the one with the hard aspect (incl the conjunction) may envy the person with the easier aspect, they've both dealt with the same basic issues regarding this, but to the person with the hard aspect it feels like the other one never had to really struggle, they may moan and groan about it, but they don't know what it's 'really like.' If too much emphasis is placed on this the one with the easier aspect could retaliate in some way cos it sucks to have your problems dismissed. Both hard aspects, they generate more energy together.
