to figure out where a planet really is whole sign for me.

i think there are meanings in interceptions when using placidus so i look those up as well.

equal isn't too shabby either.

i look at all 3 but i'd have a harder time with placidus if i branch out to other stuff like synastry, transits, etc.. i'm only in natal chart stuff.

I was hoping no one would say the whole sign system. That is the only system where my Saturn is in the 12H.

I say use whole sign.

When using Placidus, too many of my planets were in 6th house. Whole sign makes a lot more sense in my chart so I only use this now.

that's the only reason you use the whole sign system?

WHOLE SIGN.

I've tested this system against many thousands of sports and celebrity natal charts by looking at the house rulers in transit to their natal position. If I look at a birth, I look at house 1 and 5. Placidus would show one sign ruling house 5, and WHOLE SIGN would show another sign ruling house 5. Guess which was the more accurate?

The big problem, for others, is that I go by a house based way of looking at astrology, such as 5th house is children, as opposed to a planet based way of looking at astrology, which would say that Sun rules children. Many of the respected astrologers use a planet based way of looking at astrology. With this way, they would not get the same results as using a house based astrology way.

Hope that was clear enough

alright ^^' still wish it wasn't the whole sign, but I'll take your research into consideration.

I use Koch, it seems to be the most accurate to me.

The best is to do your own research and see what works.

Placidus. I use equal and whole as triggers for my interpretation in Placidus, for example, someone with Virgo Sun and Libra Asc,with whole has H12 Sun(with Placidus H11),which would lead me to spot right away that in Placidus Sun's Dipositor is in 12. These two options often give similar interep. Sometimes when planet on cusp,I use equal to see to which house planet is more inclined. Even then I found exeptions, when in equal planet goes to H8,but native,by own words,is still all about H7 issues.
Eta: What I want to say,is that with all 3 systems, one has same story.

I've used equal and placidus. I tend to use placidus now as it's more accurate when looking at an individual.

I think it's more than likely that different house systems work better for different systems such as personal, predictive, horary, mundane.

i also agree that house based system somehow makes more sense, but coffee you do consider the ruler of that house, and this changes things when we use whole sign, for example, using whole signs, my stellium moves from 4th to 5th!

I have seen some people telling you that its not for them, but i respect ur approach.

Yes.

This is what I meant Moonfish. I compared my chart using Placidus and Whole Sign.

When using Placidus, 5 planets fell into 6th house which didn't make sense with me at all when studying meaning of those planets in 6th house.

Personally for me, my chart felt a lot more right with whole sign and thats why I continue to use it.

Saturn in 12th can mean you are a very reliable person.
