Topic: Taurus guys are an enigma to me

I have hardly met any taurus men. I've only come across a few. And they all seemed like aloof. Like they didnt care about anything. That bugs me. 1. First guy was like
ready to shoot himself (literally)
because I said something that
apparently hurt his self-esteem. he like almost went off the deep end. 2. I met two who had birthdays a
day apart. They know eachother. And
one was calm and he seemed sorta cool.
But like far away. And the other one just seemed way too aloof. Id call them Blah. 3. This other guy he wont speak to me
or most strangers at all. Its liek nobody can get through to him. I dont get
it. No matter how nice he just shakes his head yes or no to yu. or mumbles. I thought Taurus guys were like fun and sweet. I dunno. ARe they supposed
to be so aloof and like fussy? Hard to please? Enlighten me about the Taurus male. ------------------

Hey I have a brother that's a Taurus!
But you would NEVER know it meeting him, the lil charmer has Venus (his Sun's ruler) in Gemini on the Asc, very good looking very witty and there's always a cute girlie on his arm. That guy has always gotten the pick of the litter. He has the very SMOOTH Taurus voice, so that is the easiest Taurean type thing that you can spot on him. But the way he speaks and relates and moves is ALL Gemini. You have to be incredibly quick in all ways to keep up with him.OTOH I dated a Taurus man with Taurus Mars on his Taurus Asc, and even tho he had Moon/Venus in Gemini he moved like a vat of pure MUD. Oh good Lord I must like 'em stubborn cos he was that to the hilt. This one was incredibly aloof as you mused in your post. He chose ME, I don't know if I had a choice either way to decline. Also, he was always weirded out by my esoteric interests. Well he had good reason to be I guess cos one night we contacted the dead and there was an evil entity that entered my home and the poor thing got spooked SO BAD (he was living with me at the time). lol Lovless, theres this taurus guy i went to college with i took like 5 or 6 classes with him, he'd borrow my notes, my homework and all that but if i think of it all what he's ever said to me cannot be more than a few sentances!! once he disappeared for a whole semester, when he came back i was like "man where have you been?!!" his answer "oh here and there" .. enough said! They're not really aloof, just calm and reserved. Once you get to know them, they're actually very.. restless, to say the least. They're also very emotional, but they don't show this side to most people. They keep this emotional side in for a very long time, until someone earns their trust, and proves to them that they won't hurt them. IP: Logged |

Those I know (the men) can be shy.  Or just plain disinterested in most people (acting as though they are, anyhow). Then they have a positive experience, and seem tickled by it - like my dad receiving a thank-you note from a client.IP: Logged |

I have a brother & a sister that are tauruses they are pretty fun to be around but we do fight a lot im an aquarius.. they are very pushy plus i use to have friends as taurus had to end relationships with them because they were so demanding and always getting offened over anything thing ill say to them couldnt take it anymore lol .IP: Logged |

So I guess Taurus guys are too serious. I just wanted them to be more enthusiastic! I don't think I can get along with someone who is gonna be close minded like the ones I met. I find Taurus girls more optimistic and fun.Oh and they all had mercury in Aries. I thought that was an interesting coincidence. Well except the first one. And I forgot, I know another male Taurus.
I feared him all my life. I
didn't even know he was a
Taurus till recently. He was a pretty terrible person. Always
angry and mean and just a trouble maker.
That was when he was younger but I don't
know what he's like now.

My best male friends have mostly been Taureans, my friend james is a taurus sun, taurus moon and ox in chinese.In my experience they have a kind of relaxed simple air about them, they will help you out when needed, but they can be quite forgetful about things and being in the right place at the right time, sometimes a bit longwinded, but good fun friends. Not to scare him just to see what would happen but the entire time the guy was just, omfg, hilariously spooked. He even said one day while stepping out of the shower cleaning the steam off the mirror that he saw a craggy man's rotted face staring as if he were standing behind him, lol! He was afraid to take a shower there afterwards. You should have seen his face that day, nothing topped it! That thing moved my furniture around and everything, one day I walked past the table into the kitchen had my back turned and then turned to walk out and stopped in my tracks cos the table had moved over to completely block me from getting out. LoveLess I know you're a Capricorn Sun..
I have a Capricorn Moon and Mars.. I don't really like men with their Mars in Taurus (trine Mine). This is the area where I believe I have felt the friction most of all.
Trines normally don't cause friction.. But every aspect can have positive and negative manifestations and I think it's also important to take the rulers into account.Saturn is cold, wise, mature, hardworking.. Venus is more likely to wear her emotions on her sleeve. This is the planet of love. It doesn't always mash well with Saturnian energy. My biggest complaint is that I find them lazy - I feel as though I work a lot more than they do.. and it makes me uncomfortable because they mooch. Also - you mentioned Aries Mercury.. I don't know about others, but my most painful relationship was with an Aries Mercury man whose Mercury was square my Cap Moon.
I just don't think Aries Mercury goes well with anything in Capricorn (mainly if the square is close in orb). IP: Logged |

Most people with the sign of Taurus are rather new souls, if their ascendant is also an earth sign. They are usually part of the earth reincarnation cycle. IP: Logged |

Lol! hm well my friend has mars taurus and we get on fine i guess although i havent really looked too much into her taurus mars till yu mentioned that. But man. Whenever I come across someone and I dont like how they talk its been that theyve had merc in aries. I feel like they always say things that come off as fighting words and it makes me angry and they never listen to what I say and I cant deal with thick headed stubborn people. I feel like im the fairer one cos i try to see both sides and any side of evvvverything. I just feel kind've disappointed in those Taurus. I really want to like them and Taurus cos we are kinda related! haha but guess its not gonna happen. ------------------

You are in a more advanced way of thinking. Think about it. It is impossible for a person who incarnated to learn the more basic lessons of existence to understand a more evolved perspective. This is what I have learned. It is actually impossible to bring certain people to a specific way of seeing things when they are here for different lessons to learn. It is like trying to teach a frog how to speak english. What is required is our patience and understanding. We must not get frustrated with them. We must see things from their perspective and try to help them with their particular mode of thinking, advance in their own personal beliefs. If you can help them advance their negative thinking to a slightly better mode of thought even if it is still in the negative or not in a stage as advanced as yours, then once they reach that new level, you can take them to the next step. This is the only way to bring them along. In other words, these type of people can't go from one side of the lake to the other. They must jump across by each individual stepping stone above the water. I am not above this though. There are people who are way more advanced than I am and I couldn't possibly understand their wisdom and they couldn't teach it to me.
