What should i look at from the chart?

I know four persons who have had kinda same kind of long-lasting relationships and those have had lots of ups and downs and only one of them really have divorced.. and one of them have kinda on-off relation and they seems to be together now only for kids or just because they don't know how to live without each other anymore

they all don't have saturn venus connection so i think it's not about that then?

i'm talking about couples i know and who have been together for many years even they seems to been unhappy the most of the time

i think it could be about steadfastness and stubbornness? and when two that kind of person found each others it's harder to give up and get divorce?

I agree with you, think of two Tauruses together, they hate breaking up, and they're also very stubborn. Two stubborn people will not give up, thinking they can fix the relationship, and will work their butts off until they've accomplished that.

I would say that all fixed signs could be like that (taurus-scorpio,leo-aquarius) those signs actually is the connection between those couples

Maybe Saturn conjunct the South Node in synastry?

Saturn is the planet of responsibility and South Node is very karmic.

I have seen this one in a double whammy.

1 saturn conjunct NN -> those did get divorce
1 saturn conjunct SN
1 saturn square SN/NN

and 1 who don't have saturn / node connection

I think a person with a lot of fixed signs in his/her chart would be like that.. if that makes sense..
