Coffee...why do you think asteroids do nothing in a chart?

You do one asteroid, you do them all. That's millions of asteroids. Do you want to do interpretations for millions of asteroids? Or does a person want to find an excuse to do asteroids despite there being millions of them, just to let themselves know that they think they are studying the correct thing in astrology.Chiron, the most useless asteroid of all, is said to be a healer. Surely you can get 'healer' and other things from the 12 signs already there. If it's supposed to be about synchronity, then that still millions. It just ain't logical, Jim. IP: Logged |

Coffee - If I went by what makes logical sense to me - I would've never picked up an astrology book at all. IP: Logged |

Nibiru is not an asteroid, it is a speculative planet. In accordance with the theory put forward by Zecharia Sitchen, this planet is the homeland of the Sumerian Annunaki Gods who he believed were instrumental in seeding humanity as we know it. Nibiru was thought to follow a highly eliptical orbit around the sun, that will at some stage return to a point which is near earth and will herald a repeat visitation by these entities. I don't think that it is possible to ascertain the effect that Nibiru has on us astrologically as it is a speculative planet (supposedly bigger than Jupiter with a comet-like orbit) so nobody knows where it is, or even if it does exist. I think that some people have tried to hypothosize on its position - but it remains exactly that - a hypothesis. As it is not an asteroid, you won't find it in any list of asteroids. IP: Logged |

I ask you what does logic have to do with Spirit?.......... People would have left the churches along time ago if this was the case. What you do with Asteroids or how you feel you are certainly entitled to. But to say they do nothing is saying that they are not made of Energy...is that how you feel...... that Asteroids have no resonance? IP: Logged |

I can only speak for myself but I have most certainly felt Chiron... Chiron is strongly aspected in my chart, it squares my Moon, Trines my Venus and Saturn, and Sextiles my Jupiter, all with in orb of 2 degrees...I've always felt as if I have this big emotional owie where Chiron falls in my chart, and healing (both physically and emotionally) has been a major theme for me through out life... I've also always been the type of person who just goes my own way, and never follows the crowd, in keeping with the maverick theme of Chiron. As for the hypothetical planets I'm somewhat skeptical about interpreting a non-existent body, unless there is some very sound mathematical reason for it’s existence like ecliptic intersections or something… As for the millions of asteroids out there… I do not believe that every single asteroid out there can be considered as significant in every individuals chart, however… asteroids can be surprisingly synchronistic with words, or even whole myths, that may resonate in your own life individually in some way… or if they are exactly conjunct a planet or angle…. Of course just trying to include all of them is confusing, not to mention ridiculous. Asteroids refer to specific details in life and not whole domains of life like with the planets.
