I will write about Saturn in each of the houses.Tell me if you can relate--Yea or Nay ------------------ It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept. Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand. The Velveteen Rabbit IP: Logged |

Saturn makes you work for everything. It feels like you climb a mountain with your fingernails--slowly,slowly. You wonder if you will ever make it.At times, you want to give up.Often, you want to give up. It seems to hard, too onerous. Saturn will reward you if you plod on.However,he rewards you very slowly. Tell me if you can relate to Saturn doing this to you in the house in which he falls.IP: Logged |

Nope. I feel like I am given everything. I know that I will make it through. I definitely don't want to give up now. The opposite. I want to give as much as I can. IP: Logged |

Saturn falls in my 9th house, in Gemini. As a newbie, I'm not sure if I'm understanding correctly, but what I think this means doesn't make sense at all in my experience. Please tell me if I'm in error here! 9th House is higher ed, long distance travel, religion, philosophy, law... but I have not encountered any restrictions here. University and college came quite easily to me, I travelled extensively, while none of the others mentioned are problematic for me. Gemini is communication and versatility... and I am an accomplished communicator and a woman of many disguises. If I told you how many career changes and identity changes I'd gone through this would be an extremely long post (and it would further attest to my skills in communication). Even in a day I am extremely versatile and shift beween activities, personae, and thought processes. So it appears I'm either missing something or looking at it the wrong way! Any thoughts? Saturn in the 4th makes the early home or your own home hard. Motherhood may be hard, challenged. You may lose your home or not have a home when you want one badly. Saturn in the 5th could make you a wet blanket. You don't know how to relax and have a good time. You could be a wall flower at a party. Your creativity could feel blocked. You look on while others have fun but don't know howIP: Logged |

Saturn in the 7th may make marriage onerous. It may feel like a huge chore. You may stay together for the kids or for practical reasons but your heart may be dead. Committed relationships will force you to mature cuz of the pain and disappointment. You will loo back and see where you were forced to grow using marriage as the vechicleIP: Logged |

Saturn in the 8th may make it hard for you to face deep ,repressed emotions. You may paper over them like perfume over a swamp. You may avoid looking as if it will kill you.

Nope. Communication is my best medium :-) It isn't a struggle at all. I communicate so open and freely. I say things when they need to be said as well. IP: Logged |

Not at all. It is true that I am a seeker, but I confess it's some fairly relaxed and easy seeking. No struggle, conflict or limitation here for me.

Saturn in the 12th is the hardest. The 12th is the house of the next dimension whether spirituality or death. A planet here turns backwards away from the world and toward "death" or the underworld. It goes away from practical life to things under like crime and institutions or things above like spirituality.Saturn here would make you retreat from the world in to an underworld, a dream world or a super creative world where it is hard to balance in this life. Ami Anne,I was wondering about my Saturn placement before you started this thread, as the notion of restriction and limitation in the 9th house doesn't ring true for me. I noticed that all my major aspects (save one, a sesquisquare with Uranus) are harmonious. Yes, I'm a total newbie, and here's a total newb question for you.... will some good aspects soften some of Saturn's restrictions, thus explaining my lack of trouble in that particular area? originally a duplicate post... but I'm going to make use of the space. No, really... school was easy. I have my own personal philosophies and beliefs, and they change if new information is presented. No stress that I can think of in the 9th house at all! It's bizarre. Jupiter is giving me a headache, too...it makes no sense to me where it is. IP: Logged |

Well I am a student too not someone who is proclaiming anything. Yes good aspects make for easier flow of your Saturn. I am thinking that you would struggle SOMEWHAT with the meaning of life and your reason for being by virtue of just having Saturn there though What do you think? IP: Logged |

I have struggled with "the meaning of life" primarily when the universe is using me as a chew-toy (like, the better part of the last decade) but it isn't a real soul-destroying thing... it's more like, "I can't believe I was put on this earth to endure this seemingly pointless BS." That's when a cascade of minor and petty - but *annoying* things happen, and it seems like an endless run of stupidity and boredom. Most of the time I view it from the perspective of "How is this particular experience going to help refine my soul?" Especially when the major and earth-shattering things happen. Sextiles: Sun, Moon Conjunction: Mars bQ:Jupiter Trines: Pluto, NN I did find more disharmonious aspects when I looked again... Semisquare: Mercury Sesquisquare: Uranus Opposition: Neptune IP: Logged |
