Since September 2008 Pluto has been doing me left, right and centre! Has anyone had experience with Pluto transiting the 7th house?

What I'm struggling to understand is, does Pluto want me to be kind to people and show compassion or does he want me to be a badass? I have an active 7th house with Sun, Jupiter and Neptune there. I have a super late Gemini Asc, so my desc is a very late Sag. Oddly, I can be a bit of a Gemini Asc at times and other times I am very Cancer'ish.

I know Pluto wants to break my relationship patterns but the problem is, until Pluto got here,I was quite an egoistic person. I was able to hold my own and cut people loose. Things have changed now, I feel like I have no control over any relationships. I can't figure out if Pluto wants me to be the bad guy and put people in their place or be some kind of a saint. Either way it feels like someones turned me inside out. I try to be kind and people just keep draining me out. This 7th house madness is getting really annoying, not to mention traumatic, it has made me cry every day for the past 2 and half years! Pffh not even because I'm sad, just because I feel like I'll explode if I don't let the emotions out. Its as good as someone kicking me in the stomach :S

Any insights will be appreciated! I am tired of trying to make sense out of my special transits. I have some lovely Saturn and Uranus action going on too!

Currently got pluto square pluto, worse than saturn return it is bring up lots of past issues, anger with my mother (some justified, some not), and pain.

People get pluto square pluto at different ages, mine is 10 years before some other generations have had it. What it is doing is making me tougher, cause I have pluto in libra i used to sit on the fence listen to each side, now I am stating my opinion and if you don't like it that's your choice, tired of being 'POLITE' cause I was raised that way. Sometimes it is totally right to be a tough cookie, pluto in scorps who i work with have got this part of life sussed correctly (although they can be demanding).

you might want to try looking at your chart in the whole sign house system.

you'll see that pluto is actually transiting your eighth house. and your natal pluto would actually occupy your 6th house. this gives more insight on whats going on.

8th house deals with other people's stuff...their thoughts, feelings emotions and baggage from the past, as well as their posessions. with pluto transiting there, you want to be in control of other people's things.

also, with this house system. it explains why your ego has been wrapped up in being in control of how close you let people get to you. capricorn always wants to keep its cool and maintain control.

pluto wants you to see where your power really lies. and until you figure it out, it will continue to destroy all of the things that you think you control and all of the places where you disempower yourself or others by trying to control their "stuff".

You know what, I've never paid attention to my own Pluto. Sure romantic relationships for me are a bit over the top dramatic/karmic but never tried to understand my own Pluto. I think I stated my opinions very aggressively when I was younger, now I try to be diplomatic and sit on the fence haha our situations are reversed!

Oooh boy... I feel for you. I had Pluto transiting my 7th through my 20's. Not a happy time. Interesting in some ways, but too intense. Wanted to get married and settle down SOOOO bad, but either met guys with "issues", or couldn't get a guy to save my life! Agh! Wound up in the end without a date for 10 years. I think I cried just about every day, too. Ugh.

Weirdly, when t.Pluto went opposite my n.Venus, it also squared my n.Pluto. GREAT time! Loved it. So much fun, and met a fabulous guy.

Transits work in mysterious ways sometimes.

With Pluto in your 6th house, you learn about power and control issues in your work and day to day routine. You want to be in control of your life on a very basic level.

Plus you've got Venus/Mars Trine Pluto, which makes you crave deep and karmic connections in your relationships.

Looking to that Venus square Saturn. That is the kicker. Venus in Aquarius = The Intellectual Idealist of Love. Its about the idea of love not really the feeling and experience of it. this is Square Saturn in Scorpio which is really trying to work through a fear of losing control which leads to a fear of intimacy. Which again goes back to your whole issues of control in relationships. AND Moon opposite Saturn... OUCH.

With all of the Fixed energy manifest in your emotional/relationship planets, Control is not only a big issue now but was definitely so growing up.

I have a few Pluto things going on.

Pluto Sextile my Venus
Pluto Opposition my Jupiter
Pluto Conjunction my Uranus

Ptuto Sextile Venus
"Positive aspect: You may be attracted by an unusual person, whose charm will bewitch you. Because this is a very long-lasting transit, this may have already happened in the last year or so. You are transformed by love and encounter passion that may have been heretofore missing in your life. You may fall in love during this period, and if the transit is already in effect, you may have already met someone who affects you deeply. This can be a very consuming relationship - one that is filled with passion and that cannot be taken lightly. Depth of feeling and attachment. You are energized, intrigued, in love. You may engage in more sexual activity than usual."

Pluto Oppose Jupiter
"Negative aspect: You will live beyond your means. You will need things that will cost you dearly. You will be ready to put yourself in doubtful situations to increase your money or to make ends meet at the end of the month, with all the risks that this entails."

Pluto Conjunct Uranus
"Positive aspect: You would be able to create something original, novel, singular."

Thanks Ami

Electricmind: I've never used whole signs system before. Changes everything really. I think I relate with my fifth house Saturn and 7th house Sun, so having them change houses is a bit hmm odd. Thanks for your insight. I just feel my relationships are doomed with this Pluto activity. You are onto something there though, I can't control their "stuff". It just saddens me because when I try to be compassionate and wish them the best, they still want to turn around and be a jerk. My close friend always tells me, I should stop taking things personally. May be as a Capricorn, that is my lesson here. I've always taken people's actions personally. Funny how I know whats going on yet I feel helpless. Oh well, thanks for introducing me to whole signs anyway.

Forgot to add have pluto going through 7th now, has been last few years. When it went through the 6th all the interpretations rang true such as power struggles with co workers, I no longer have these as its in the 7th but as its angular its powerful and both in a good and bad way. I am kind at work and come away drained, never used to be like this, it may also be saturn opp sun = low vitality this year.
Good boundaries = not being drained, so lots of saturn could be good I suppose so may be low on saturn at the moment, who knows?
Either way can't wait to get out of 2011 and on with 2012.

CosmicKarma360: OMG, I am in the exact situation. The day Pluto crossed my DC, I met someone who I fell in love with hahaha I laugh because it is so unlike me. And then began the theaterics. Back and forth, another girl in the picture, more back and forth, some other girl in the picture now. I didn't know people could be this messed up. Nothing ever happened between us, he confesses his feelings and runs away the next moment. Yet me being me, I understand his mental state and just want him to find peace! I'm weird like that but yea, I have genuinely wished him happiness, I don't even want to be with him but I'd like for us to stay in touch because we get along so great. Anyway, messed up man there. I met some other guys with insane issues too but I never got close to them.

I just don't meet guys, its like the universe doesn't want me to be in a relationship at all. I'm constantly surrounded by women or guys I'd never want to be with. I've started to feel like you did too, I want to be in a relationship! Being an only child with no family other than my parents, I'm scared. I don't want to die alone. And the one guy who could actually handle me, runs away :S Now I just keep telling myself that love is for losers LMAO Sour grapes.

electricmind: I was one party pooper as a child, if something upset me then no one could enjoy! I still do that sometimes, for no apparent reason I feel people are ignoring me and then I start sulking. Doesn't help that I am an only child, its always been my way or the highway. I do have some nasty aspects but really blessed to have the best parents. I'm sure would've ended up down the drain with addictions if they hadn't taught me to make the right choice.

Love to me happens in the mind, in my spirit rather than the body. I used to hate Saturn because it made me so serious but now I kind of enjoy it. I have a ridiculous staying power

I have always wanted to be in control from a young age. I missed out on being a child, wanting to be responsible just came naturally. I have memories of being around other 4 year olds and thinking they are so silly with snot running down their nose and eating things off the floor :-| My mom always tells me how she never had to struggle with me, like I was too old for my age.

I guess this Pluto transit bothers me so much because I hate losing control and being emotional. I've always been the centre of attention, doing things no one else did, wanting to be an over achiever. I find Pluto issues distracting me from my path. May be I need to get rid of relationships and just think about my dreams.

DayandNight21: Can't wait to get on with 2012 either. Thats what I've been saying since 2008, keep hoping the next year gets better. Nice to know that Pluto isn't just targeting me alone! hehe I had it in my 6th house through my teenage years, I didn't notice his effects until he entered my 7th. Probably because I didn't really work when he was going through my 6th.

Yeah, same. Pluto is transiting my 7th house and I have Mars there as well. This, a long with my progressed moon in my 12th house, the past few years have been really difficult and I can't wait until 2012. I'm basically done with relationships at this point.

Take it from me AquaVenus...

LET GO!

Pluto has hit has made a conjunction to my Jupiter/Neptune/Ascendent conjunct the obligatory 3+ times after Pluto's retrograde and forward motion antics. Its making its second to last square to my Aries Moon in a couple weeks.

I mean you are talking to Queen Maturity. Not only do I have Jupiter, Neptune and my Ascendant in Capricorn; I have Venus and Mercury as well. Plus I've got Sun in Aquarius square Mars/Saturn conjunction Scorpio. I could read when I was barely 3 and rarely cried as a baby.

I get you. I feel you...

The thing is, the more you hold on and think you are in control, the more traumatized you will feel by the experiences. Pluto is asking you to let go of something which obviously you identify very strongly with. The very thing you are holding onto is the thing that is actually distracting you from your path.

Perhaps you should give the whole sign house system another chance. Even your response to me introducing that idea to you is the same as your response to this Pluto transit. You've allowed something that is not really you to define you...literally and figuratively.

Pluto is your friend. He wants you to let go of destructive behavior patterns that are keeping you from true self empowerment and your highest best self.

Let go, my love.

Hmmm
Let me ask you this Aquavenus--which house do YOU feel Pluto is hitting?
You should be able to feel it.So, we need to start there,I think. What do you think?

As for your general question.Pluto is our deepest most primal feelings. The only deeper more unreachable part is Nessus imo

I don't think it is so much what you DO with Pluto as to how you accept what you feel inside.

This is the hardest part, the inner self, loving it ,embracing it,accepting it with all it's flaws, not forcing it to be perfect.

Once that part is in progress, the outside changes accordingly.

Once you go through the wars of your own maturity, you will push away some people and embrace others.

My biggest advice is to be as real as you can to yourself and with others.
That is what Pluto wants you to do.He is all about tearing down fake

------------------
It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept.
Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand.

I went through Pluto conjunct DSC while it squared my Venus (as well as conjuncting my Saturn/Uranus) a few years ago. It was MADNESS. I was an utter mess. It was the first time I ever obsessed over anyone before and I was miserable. Pluto is the worst.

Ami: I love the stuff you say! Nah, he's not a Pisces, double Sag instead. Don't know the Asc seen as I never asked for his birthtime. I have a knack for finding the weird ones, just that this one has taken the biscuit. Its a cheesy overused line but I think I have some soul connection there.

As you said, if I try to be true to myself, I find that I feel genuine love and compassion towards this person. The other people I've had power struggles with under this transit, well after a few knocks I've learnt to defend myself and cut them out of my life. Hence so confused over what it is that Pluto wants! Does he want me to hate this person because I fail to do that. Can 'hate' be a lesson? In my heart I feel this is not how things should be between us. Oh well, guess in the end it all comes down to the fact that men are simply strange! :P

Tearing down the fake. I like that sentence!

Electricmind: Got distracted and ended up on your site. On a completely different note, I like your work. Just heard one of your tracks on FB. Can't help noticing that you are doing excellent with the social networks! (work in online marketing) I love when I land on websites where people are taking advantage of the social channels! Random that.

I don't really have a fixed attitude towards this transit. I am all up for change, I'd just like it if it didn't confuse me so much. From 2008 I've been sensing that other people have more control over situations than I do, I rather be in a situation where people are on a equal level. May be I'm learning to make decisions over who deserves to be a part of my life and who doesnt. I need to read up on Whole Signs tomorrow.

Pluto started squaring my Sun a year and a half ago. Currently it's exact again within .5 degrees. Exactly exact in mid August. It's on my 12th house cusp. It's not too bad now, but last year (especially Feb - April) was probably the worst year of my life. Nothing horrible happened, but my emotions were so insane that it was almost unbearable.

The first 'hit' was definitely the worst. At the that time I also had my first 'hit' of transiting Neptune and Chiron oppose my Venus. I had a mad 'love' obsession that left me devastated. It was truly a dark night of the soul and I thought for a few months I was losing it. Really really dark and intense. I've had periods of depression in my life but NOTHING like that.

By the end of 2010 Neptune-Venus was done, and Pluto made the 3rd square to my Sun. Within 2 days of the square being exact I 'woke up,' had extreme clarity about the relation and felt so much better. So there Pluto was a friend. I also had my progressed Moon return then.

Now Pluto is squaring and Uranus is opposing my Sun again. Everything feels crazy, as in every time I made plans something else comes up. It seems like a lot of external stuff is going on that I never expected. I'm moving 2000 miles away in a month, but of course those plans are in question now due to unforeseen events.

I had a work related injury and now I'm out of work, no idea when I'll be OK to go back. Nothing like that has ever happened to me, and the timing of it isn't great with this move planned. Just a lot to make me go "WTF? Really?!" But at least this time it's external craziness, not internal! I just got through nodal opposition within the last month, now I've got S.node conjunct Moon.
