I was in a reltionship with someone and we keep seperating - Me physically removing myself and running and He distancing himself emotionally. No matter how many times I 'run' away from him I always 'feel' the call back to him and something always happens to bring us back to a point of being in touch again. (That was a brief background there!).

My question is about the relevance and meaning of North Node Contacts in Synastry.

Here are some of our NN contacts

MY North Node Contacts to His Planets

North Node sextile Sun
North Node square Pluto
North Node sextile North Node
North Node sextile Pallas
North Node sextile Vesta

His North Node Contacts to My Planets

North Node conjunct Mercury
North Node conjunct Venus
North Node conjunct Mars
North Node conjunct Ceres
North Node conjunct Juno

Can anyone tell me the significance of having these placements together in synastry? And if these may be the cause of always being brought back together again?

Your help is very much appreciated

O.M.G.

You might be a bit too much for him. You have so much stuff on his NN. I mean in a sense it's a good thing because you can teach him more about this area of life... But the NN is never easy for the person..
For him to be faced with this *much* energy suddenly activating his NN... hmmm I think he'd get tired.

Do you have anything at all on his SN?

I had Venus conjunct NN with someone once. It was pretty sweet and felt like we belonged together and we were somehow each other's missing link. But life got in the way, so it didn't last. I adored him and still have fond feelings for him.

NN in synastry gives people the feeling that they're moving forward or going somewhere. I think it represents new karma and it can be addictive; like "If we break up, will I ever feel this way again?" So, you go back to each other, not because what you have is familiar, but because you're not finished and feel that you haven't gone as far as you can. You won't always feel comfortable because NN is about growth. Ex: my Sun conjuncts the NN of a guy I know and I hate it when he points out mistakes that I've made because my ego is mixed in with everything he's trying to help me with. For a long time I've depended on myself and all of a sudden he showed up and I had to grit my teeth and accept that I need help.

What houses are your planets in?

Squares to Nodal axis are valid too! So plug those in there as well.
Also v.important are NN and SN rulers and what they are doing natally and in synastry.

What would north node exact conjunct asc mean in synastry?

I have this with a guy

His south node very tightly conjunct MY vertex and juno too.

His juno is also tightly conjuncting my north node and pof

My south node is also tightly conjuncting his moon, sun, venus, mercury and also mars=/

Would it mean this meeting was fated?

"What would north node exact conjunct asc mean in synastry?"
---nn/asc is a super strong bond, meant to be together definitely, may not last long, but is v.important for the nn person. i'll go so far as calling it a definite life changing contact.

"My south node is also tightly conjuncting his moon, sun, venus, mercury and also mars=/"
---your sn his stellium, just isolating that it's like he feels like home and so comfortable to be around, but maybe too familiar, you could be critical of him when you start feeling a bit stifled by his presence. but when he's gone you'll feel like damn i want that feeling back.

I see your North Nodes sextile each other. I have North Node trine North Node with someone and our destinies do seem to be intertwined. (In a good way though).

That's great what you've shared, makes a lot of sense to me. It does feel like many things are unfinished and that there is much more to explore together.
I cannot give you the houses the planets are in between us as I don't have his time of birth.

Lonake - Because I didn't have his timbe of birth I don't know if our Asc are in contact with the Nodes. The only squares we have are His NN square My Moon
and My NN square His Pluto

Taineberry I couldn't find anything on Node to Node contacts.

Thanks for all your help by the way.

'Also v.important are NN and SN rulers and what they are doing natally and in synastry.'

Lonake - My North Node is in Capricorn, His North Node is in Scorpio. I do not know about Rulers and shall have to research these.

Hi Taineberry - I am new to this so be gentle lol. I did the synastry using the configuration hunter, but when I went to do the synastry on astro.com for example...it did not show mercury conjunct north node...but showed all the others and this I do not understand. Amy had said to post my chart - However I'm just waiting to see if I keep it on default or set it to Houses like the advice here says. All other looks at my personal natal chart for example have said a planet is in house 10, but when I change the chart to 'houses' it changes the position to House 11.
If anyone could give me an idea about what to set it too on astro.com I'd greatly appreciate that for both natal and synastry, and what I would input for his time of birth seeing as that is the missing piece and I do not know it.

Then....I can't post the chart!!
