so, i've for some reason had the urge to find this song again today after reading something about the movie Grease in one of the threads, and before, i didn't understand much of what the song was about til i gave it a listen again... basically she's talking about a man who loves his cars and her being sexy, then, she proceeds to say that she rubs that glitter and grease around and someone on a youtube comment said it was

Glitter
And
Grease
Around

but,
i kind of just realized it was lost in translation: glitter and grease (clitorissss)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3tkKQUj9aM

any thoughts?

(absolutely love her!)

Yeah, ill play this game.... Oh Man. Another lady gag gag thread. She is becoming so tired and useless. The blind, weak goat slaves that follow her around don't ever see it. I guess that they were meant to be sacrifices or something for Lucifer.

The Juda bass line was catchy. The rest of her stuff is old, outdated Madonna sounding crap. She also lies to the public and her goat fans constantly while Lucifer motions to her that he needs another happy time before bed.

I do like Lady Gaga, but I don't like interviews with her. She is extremely spaced out in a way that puts me off. I also have a Pisces Mercury (born days after her) - but mine is not retro.

In what way does this effect your personality?

Gaga's mercury, i believe is also retro.. she's been given a Sagittarius ascendant by Susan Miller and that puts Pluto in her 11th house.

Another mercury in pisces there (although by progression it is in gemini). Lady gaga is 50/50 in my book, some days like her music other days can't stand it.

The only other similarity is sun in aries but she is from a different generation with completely different aspects, sign placements and houses. I think that moon pluto tight conjunction in 12th and scorpio is very very dark and being so tight a blind spot for her.

One significant ex and aqua sun had merc in pisces too, his was afflicted like mine was but he is successful in his career and I too am in work so it can't be that bad, I think having it in 10th house which is a fairly good placement helps and apparently it is better for mercury to make aspects than to be unaspected. We both have pluto mars progressed aspects which helps with making things happen.

Aw man, why do you have to hate? If there is anything I don't like, it is people who bash celebrities just because they don't like or agree with them. Personally, I love Lady Gaga. Sure her stuff may be Madonna-ish, but it's still good enough to generate a great following. But then again, there will always be haters.

Like with Justin Bieber! He has a huge hate following, and I don't like him, but that doesn't mean I'll attack him.

Also, there is no proof as to this "Lady Gaga is satanist" stuff.

I'm a Fan of Gaga but my Sag Mercury squares her Mercury and I do have trouble understanding her when she's not singing. However as a Scorpio I like the mystery and trying to figure her out.. cause for me it's pretty hard lol

Yes I know hers is.. I was saying that *mine* is not retrograde lol
I think that's why I have trouble understanding her.
But I also get that this is part of her image. Maybe she wants to be a bit spaced out or mysterious.

i wanted to start this thread because of the difference of opinion between people and what she does.. i then realized the mercury in pisces at play when i was listening to this song and i've trie to do it with a lot of hers to try to understand what it is she's saying.. just like in poker fface, there's that bit that sounds like she's saying 'fu-fu-fu-fu*k her face'? sometimes im most certainly sure she does it and has the ability to get away with it and i revel in it because i love that she can do that!

other times, i just think she tunes in to whatever there may be and goes with it.. divine intuition, i say!

then there's the real gaga.. there was an interview she did for someone working i think for mtv and she talked about new york.. and how she would take off without her guards and just go for a ride on her bike through the city and there was suchhhhh sweet, vulnerability and longing when she said that.. nearly broke my heart into pieces because of how committed she is to what she's doing no matter what anyone thinks.

she's definitely an inspiration

more so with her green hair and her mermaid tail and whatever else she wants to dig up from wherever.. born this way, btw.. the cd, it's poptastic! has a very 80's-ish feel to it, the leather, the bikes, of course, but when i first bought it, i listened to it for 2 weeks non-stop til i realized i knew all songs by memory and knew it'd just randomly start popping in my head on auto-play if i didn't turn on something else lol... regardless, i think it's great. her sound changes with time, whether it's from something that sounds like somebody else or not.. she also has her reasons for that, btw.. she went to art school and girl has mercury square saturn.. if anything, she's most certainly careful about what she does or says and i believe does it with good reason but with her mercury in pisces, again: glitter and grease / clitorisss

what can i say? her mercury conjoins my north node

Her music is fluff and you're reading too much into it. There's no actual substance, there are no "easter eggs" for fans to find. The glitter and grease thing is just a coincidence as is you thinking "poker face" is something else.

For all the colourful aspects of her image, her music isn't really as high concept as she'd like to think it is.

Boring pop songs, Verse...chorus...verse.

The more popular someone is the more ppl want to bring them down. Her songs have meanings, they are just put in a very light fun way. Shes a Scorpio moon for god sake.

The meaning of her songs aren't important though. They don't help humanity in the way that music should.

I think that some artists could actually use their power to overthrow governments. That is what I would do, if I were a popular musician. They would probably try to kill me like Lennon, Hendrix, Pac and others.

If an artist isn't using their position and power over others to cause REAL change in the corrupt system of things, then they don't mean much to me.

I think her music is about as interesting as drying paint. It reminds me of that saying about "All that Glitters...". Scorpio Moon or not, she's clearly not making music from the true place, but just trying to sell a product to the masses....like processed lunch meat. But if you want to brand me as jealous of her success, then let me first inform you that I'm pretty satisfied with what I do for a living.

I believe you. You aren't jealous of her success. There are some people who can see past the blind adoration for celebrities
