Anybody got Mars in Virgo?

My Mars is there and I don't relate well to most of the descriptions I have seen. I am not at all routine driven, super-organized or sexually prudish/inhibited.

How do you experience it?

I hate it when it says mars in virgo is sexually inhibited LOL. Man is that off.

What I find is, I may not be super organised, but I'm good at multi tasking and I DO work hard when I need to.
I DO aim for excellence, and I'm not one to quit on something until I get it done.
When I set my mind on something, and go after it, I will eventually accomplish it.

It does help with general work related habits, and I am pretty efficient.

I also find that I'm pretty calm? (must be my libra planets too... But seeing that I'm an aries rising, I should actually be more prone to anger haha)

This makes me sensual and I'm an actions kind of person, where I show my feelings through actions, and I'm not frivilous, I do things with integrity (uh must be the rest of the chart too)

This mars may not have the flair and 'bite' of mars in sag, leo or aries, or be as light and fluffy as mars in gem, but I like it.

That is pretty much how I see it too. I like to analyse things and show mastery of technique and precision in my work. I am also motivated to do things with max. expedience, no prolonged, useless complications.

BUT ... I love trying out new things (sexually and otherwise, the more strange and obscure the better ),am very sensual, and couldn't give a toss about routine. I only "serve" people if I am forced at gunpoint, and can't stand anything that is even vaguely conventional or rigid. I am wondering though, if this is because my Mars is also conjunct Uranus?

Mars in Virgo very similar to Virgo Merc; Attention and prowess, that's how they get things done. Slow, steady, carefully. They savour every part of the process. There is quiet resilience in them. Rarely angry,no angry outbursts, when they do raise voice it is full of well-considered arguments and reasons, one can't easily offend them. I think I have never heard them swear.
Eta:OTOH,or medal, they can be lords of procrastination.

I have that, too.

It depends what they call 'prudish/inhibited'. I'm not repressed, but, combined with some Scorpio placements, I'm probably more private about these things. I don't advertise my 'activities' either.
It may well be that I don't talk about things like that so easyly as others. That's because they mean more to me than just the actual 'practising'.

If that's what people mean when saying it's 'inhibited', than I am that.
(Still can't see what's wrong with it, though. For me, a perverse Aquarian for example is more worrysome... ) if we're into stereotypes)

About the routine thing (forget sex for a minute ): routine is good to a certain extent, because... because it's what it is, really. For people like me, routine provides the stability. It doesn't have to be dull! I can get bored, and burn-out too. But I don't need 'challenges'. I leave that to the adrenaline-freaks.

I don't know.... I prefer steady progress to rush. Stability to constant change. Privacy to self-advertising. And so on.
These things reflect in my everyday activities as well as relationships and work (since it's a Mars placement that we're talking about).

All in all, I don't consider myself all that different to anybody else who have their Mars somewhere else.

By the way, do any of you ever get the feeling that you could go on and on forever writing about something and still not grasp what you want to say?

I have Mars in Virgo too, in the 8th house. I'm more open to sexuality than most people I know. Organized? It's a struggle.

Yes, yes for sure Taineberry! Understanding the outer planets and where they are can be interesting to observe. I always keep in mind that, the virgos that I meet of my generation (and a bit older), are likely to have a conjunction with Uranus. AND this is the reason I can relate to them (I'm Aqua ). After that, it's the Librans that are a bit kooky (Librans born after 1972 where their suns are conjunct Uranus).

It's funny especially when I have a conversation with said virgos who says they dont believe in astrology because they are nothing like what the descriptions say of Virgos. They aren't of course, accounting for that their suns are conjunct Uranus!

Sassaqua - So interesting!! I always felt my Mars was more like Mars in Aquarius (but maybe a little more detail-orientated)! My conjunction to Uranus is tight. 0.33 degrees.

my brother has this , he is very organized, i mean he has a schedule(mentally) that he follows, very neat, very well kept.

but he is very critical, pays attention to every detail and judgemental plus he asscociates with those on his level, very shallow

but like i said, he is a busy bee and health oriented, everything my mother wishes i was lol, just too damn critical, like every ******* detail

I think people forget that Virgo Mars is STILL an Earth Mars so there's no way that it can be essentially prudish. My ex had this and he was anything but....but it was eerie how calculated almost EVERY move of his was. Guess that's what happens when you combine Scorpio Sun with Virgo Mars.

Hahahaha... I currently have a Scorpio Sun with Virgo Mars pursuing me, and I have to say: His advances and retreats seem VERY calculated. It's actually to the point where I can ALMOST calculate exactly what he's going to do or say if I do X,Y, and Z. Not always... But more than I think is necessary. Everything is very tactical with him.

Years ago I dated a Virgo Venus/Mars conjunction person who is definitely NOT sexually prudish or inhibited.

He is a doctor now though.

He was super organised and worried about germs (and criticised how I washed dishes (I was only young at the time and was useless with dishes).. mind you I wash them pretty well now, he would be impressed).

Actually he was so critical I couldn't stand it. (like my dad, who is a Virgo Sun/Saturn conjunction and a doctor also).

Since him I have associated criticism with Scorpios (as he was heavily scorpio influenced) as I find scorpios to be critical too (but generally not as grating, as they are only being helpful to YOU). A Virgo/Scorpio person is super critical though.

I can't speak from his point of view, just my observations.

To explain myself better, there were times in the early courtship phase (or whatever its called) where I assumed (wrongly) that he didn't care, and everything was a coincidence. Only to realize I was waaay off. My point is that ALL his moves were very purposeful...even if they were passive (his Mars was part of a T-Square involving Neptune).
