HI
I am an aries sun and I thankfully have nothing else in aries. I have come to conclusion that a little aries energy is positive but too much is a pain.
Looking at bette davis and joan crawford, both were aries and publically were rivals, they just couldn't rise above themselves. Joan it is alleged was also abusive to her own daughter (that book mommie dearest. Now I know celebs have their own rules and realities compared to us mere mortals but it does show the violent side of aries. My current boss is an aries and she is emotionally violent, I see it so clearly as have never had an aries boss before and hopefully other aries bosses are not like this. She has several difficult aspects such as sun square saturn, sun opp pluto and saturn squ pluto for starters, all tight orbs. I have the latter two but much looser orbs and overall a different chart to her.

Just like to say I am conscious of not being too harsh and my friend said that am not brash at all so like to think my pisces influence of venus trine neptune in progressed and sun trine neptune in my natal softens any harsh tendencies, neither am I wishy washy as the other influences in the chart = a hard worker certainly not driftwood. just wish she would motivate instead of demotivate.

Well yeah, Aries just "does" and thinks not of the consequences. My sister has a stellium Moon-Saturn-Sun-Venus in 11th Aries and she really can just be down right mean (she doesn't intend so) and even be physically violent at times!IP: Logged |

I'm an Aries too. Sun and Mars, no less. What Linda Goodman wrote about Aries really struck me as correct. Aries are babies. That's what they are. They're the infant of the zodiac.Babies are cute. They're also a real pain in the a$$. Thing is, babies have no idea they're a pain. They're just doing what babies do, which is scream and cry if they want something. Yeah, it is all about *them*, thank you very much!  They have no idea they're insensitive, screaming and an inconvenient time for you, or waking you up out of a sound sleep. They just need what they need and they need it Right Now. Yeah, that is the downside of Aries. It's not usually done with any mean intent. They're just reacting to instinct. IP: Logged |

No freakin joke!!! My dad is an Aries sun, venus, and mercury. He is a very angry, aggressive person ..thankfully he has never taken it out on us physically, but verbally he has always been harsh and mean when provoked. And it doesn't take much to provoke an Aries LOL My mom has Aries moon and she has a bit of these energy obvious in her behavior, as well. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your responses, not had much experience of double/triple Aries and definately not going to seek it out, one dose of Aries is great though. (eg Simon webbe is an aries of boy band blue with a taurus moon and he's ok, duncan james is double fire sun aries/moon leo and he's ok) so it is the combo of double aries that is the problem. It is far too harsh for my nurturing cancer rising. I haven't known her that long but have strong likes and dislikes to people and went to work for her cause liked her then she starts showing these other sides to her personality that I cannot stand and am stuck there for time being. Also read that that thread on moon in capricorn and agree it is something else. Although know there are some posters on here with more positive expressions of it. Just don't think aries with heavy saturn influences mixes well - sun square saturn too. I too had strong saturn in natal but this applies no longer in the progressed and mine were positive not negative aspects (except the moon). Being an Aries I have never been physically violent with my family and never would be, my mars pluto aspect and provides self control. Actually can't stand violence.

Don't you have a moon in capricorn too Lonake? Thought you might comment on that. Well I've never met an Aries like this but her difficult saturn/pluto make her a tyrant. Wasn't henry 8th cancer/aries? My sister is aries rising and we had occasional sibling problems but are really close, I am really proud of her success and she never hinders me. She also has a sun jupiter aspect but involving aries / libra which involves balance of signs. The fact that this 'woman' has sun conjunct jupiter both in aries amps up the egomania me thinks and the saturn being in square does not restrain it; it just comes out with her being harsh with others. She's not quite Devil wears Prada (yet). The tight sun opp pluto gives her the ability to back others into a corner and that is exactly what she is doing cause she knows i need a reference and have to stay there till I get another job, what a b****. There's just too many things she has done in the space of a few weeks that she would never put up with someone doing to her. I really dislike her, you would think that she would want to make allies instead of enemies, the entrepreneur Alan Sugar is a double Aries and although I respect him I would never work for him not even for all that money WAY TOO BRASH. He even said that he is hard work for his wife to stick with. Also this field is not corporate so she should be acting in a more nurturing way.
Right got it all out now, feeling sooooo much better.

One of my best friends is an Aries and we agreed that we're "married". She liked me once upon a time, and then I liked her once upon a time - now we're just really close. I find that her energetic and ready-set-go! nature to be very refreshing and very fun.Though, it could be her Cancer Moon opposing my Capricorn Moon that gives us some grounding, 'cause at the end of the day we just mellow out together and do our own thing. Hmmm...thinking of my sister, our Suns are quincunx...I guess that applies in how we had violent fights when young, but have much more understanding in recent years. I haven't looked them up for her cause got my own life to live and think it is unhealthy to fixate on her. She has enough of my time and energy at work and this is a means to get it out without paying for a therapist or annoying friends/family combined with an interest in astrology. Not the only one that has noticed, someone else openly said they thought she was being moody and another said to a client only half joking that she was demanding. Haven't heard anything positive about her yet and have been there a while now?!Shes not a tyrant all the time, she is a doer yes I agree but her interactive style is tempestous. Shes big into giving out disciplinaries too.
There are loads of examples to give you of what but not going into it cause feel I have processed it now.
My best friend was an aries with an aqua moon, she was lovely and nothing like this.

My brother and my son are both Aries and neither of them are harsh. In fact both are really very kind and never shout. Their
Aries-ness comes out more in that they are straightforward and competitive in a healthy way and they don't really "see" obstacles. They just go for it. IP: Logged |

my mother and grandmother have aries moons. My grandmother is a scorpio with a aries moon, so she is a little more controlled until provoked, i swear she could make the house shake with her anger.
my mother, on the other hand, is a virgo with aries moon, easily provoked, not affectionate at all(neither was my grandma, her mother)and me and her always butt heads, she is very hot headed

Its good to know there are some nice ones out there, my cousin is an aries, born 2 years younger than me on exact same day and have a real soft spot for him (probably the cancer rising as it loves family). He is an example of a good sort but that was years ago when I knew him and haven't seen him for about 7 years. Also some double aries such as celine dion are nice but she has pisces to soften the harshness. What it seems to be is the mix and lots of aries + lots of saturn can result in a person that is serious and possibly harsh. Anyway saw the boss again today and she was as nice as pie (for a day)! Agree with Ami anns comments cause I too have strong air and you don't know what sets off the anger in these firey types sometimes. IP: Logged |

Ooh! Yes, actually, that perfectly describes my mother. She's a Cap, with Aries moon, and Mars in Aries (don't have her rising sign). Bad mix. She is ultra-harsh, stern, and has this weird cruelty streak that I've never been able to figure out. Makes sense it's an unhealthy cocktail of Saturn's strictness, with the insensitive "me-first" Aries side. Seems like she got the darker part of both Aries and Saturn. IP: Logged |
