Hello,
I am attempting to understand this mighty planet as it seems to be important in my chart.

My Pluto Aspects:
Pluto (in Scorpio) squaring (tight orb) Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus
Pluto conjunct South Node, Opposing North Node
Pluto Trine MC

I'm particularly interested in the Pluto/South Node conjunction as I haven't studied the nodes very much but know they have to do with karma (how exactly?)

My life has been full of transformations and separations. Lost my father and my soulmate (both Scorpios) before the age of 23. I draw a LOT of Scorpions into my life (and really like them and connect to them). I think about death CONSTANTLY, and have developed intense anxiety as a result

What am I supposed to do with all this Pluto? I feel like it'll either kill me soon or make me invincible.

wow, that pluto square sun is a very big deal....you should never take pluto lightly or it will come back and bite you in the butt...its the planet of nuclear power, death, reincarnation, and transformations

pluto rules scorpio and the 8th house, so the fact that pluto is in scorpio makes it comfortable for pluto, but its squaring your sun, causing conflict and could make you a more jealous and vengeful person than you want to be

as far as the pluto conjunct SN, no idea...i'm still trying to figure out my moon conjunct SN, lol

but your right, plutos energy could either kill you (not literally) or make you stronger..all you have to do is listen to plutos messages, and they are not light (i know, i'm a scorpio sun, mars and pluto)....i know, from personal experience, if you dont listen to pluto and use its power it will have consequences

its also common for people with strong pluto or scorpio sun people to loose someone close to them...i lost my father 10 years ago, and my grandfather when i was a year old...as well as my best friends mother just a couple of years after my father

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

Hey, thank you for responding. I totally forgot about lindaland for a while. Actually, I just went through some more Pluto-troubles.. more loss, etc. Yes, it cannot be ignored. It's crazy but I'm feeling like I will get out of all this trouble and be real, real strong and Real!

Hi rainbowvein,

At the moment, I'm doing the *happy dance* over t.Pluto. It has been sitting right on top of my n.S.N now for several years, and at last, it's moving direct! By the end of Nov., it should be out of my hair *forever*! Whee! <tossing confetti in the air!>

Don't know if it's the transit is the same as natal, but for me, having it on the n.S.N has meant dealing with a lot of weird stuff from the past. I had a lot of old, faded memories suddenly (and at very unexpected times), come roaring back to life. Sometimes, it felt like I was *right there* experiencing the event all over again. Like I had to review it, and study it. A lot of reflection on what has happened in the past, and the choices/mistakes I made.

However, it's not all bad. My n.N.N is in the 3rd house. With this transit, writing again seems to have popped back up into my life. At least as a hobby. It's as if Pluto *pulled* the NN energy upward.

Of course, Pluto ain't happy without throwing a heap of changes on you. Yup! I do feel like this is a cleansing/housekeeping time when it comes to figuring out who/what is important to my life. Some of it completely out of my hands. I am turning some big corners, with a new career direction, and finding completely new hobbies. As well as new friends entering the picture, too.

Yeah, Pluto is a tricky one. Powerful and rough. Yet somehow, it turns out for the better in the end.

By the way... Found this book awhile back. "Lunar Nodes: Discover Your Soul's Karmic Mission." Author, Celeste Teal. Don't know if she's any good or not, but here's a little she wrote about Pluto conjunct n.S.N.

the individual arrives w/an incredible amount of power, as a result of having weathered some tough storms in the past. Now this power is to be distributed carefully. There is a pact with the higher forces about how the power is to be used, and this should not be for selfish purposes. The Dalai Lama has this aspect.

These people are not so concerned w/what is happening on the surface, as w/what is going on beneath. They are questioning, curious, and probing, often aware of the underlying motivations behind people's actions.... A variety of skills are noted... However difficulty getting this energy properly harnessed so that it doesn't work against them. Remembrance of the old crisis can make them suspicious.... make them manipulative... Some have a distracting preoccupation w/sex and the sensual side of life. Or, there is an intense fascination with death--w/morbid or strange.

There may be some personal loss connected to the house placement of this conjunction....

.... With the square, the person is blocked in the expression of his or her ideas and suppressed in their actions by society at large. They are very ambitions and want to do something big, but there's no audience or stage. There are disruptive and destructive tendencies that may be demonstrated by these people, causing others to regard them as a threat.
<end>

Whew! Sounds like a rough ride indeed, but concentrating on how to *use* the power seems to be the key.

There's more from the book, but I tried to concentrate here on a real general summary. Good luck!!
