yea, only difference, though, is not being able to have that instructor tell me how to pronounce it, whats appropriate in what situations and what i should use in others...what words are "male only" and "female only" cuz "ore" is I or me, but only used by guys...glad i know that, lol------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Ooooh blah its not a big deal! Besdies we didn't even get that far to Ore and specific female or male speech words. I think for the most part yu can speak in general Japanese and not worry about those things. But if yu want to create yur own way of speaking then perhaps those words are more useful. Honestly tho the books are almost the same! Pronunciation is everywhere online! ------------------

i am a member of japanesepod101.com and that has podcasts...but since i'm a free member right now i can only listen to the most basic of basic podcasts------------------

You can talk to lots of people from anywhere! Even like mic chats. I used to go on there a lot. I used it for other languages mostly tho. But there are Japanese people on there! So if yu get lucky yu can find someone to chit chat with if ya want. ^^------------------

ya I like jisho its pretty cool. And yu can search for things in japanese kanji or in romaji for jap words.------------------
