Mercury Retrograde Leo/Virgo 2011July 23rd, 2011 by electricmind Starting officially August 2 – August 26. Unofficially through September 10th. Most people cringe when you mention the phrase “Mercury Retrograde”. It is folkloric, popular astrology at its worst. It is important to understand that Mercury Retrograde is a natural part of the cycles of life. Besides the Moon, it is the fastest moving planet. It just goes, goes, goes. Mercury in your Birth Chart represents your Mental Operating System. It shows how you think and communicate and what your motivation is for communicating. It also rules your day to day movements and methods of being. Are you a person who likes order and routine or do you thrive on a measure of chaos? Mercury in your chart will answer these questions. During the retrograde period, Mercury will be in Virgo and Leo. Mercury in Leo says: “I think and communicate to express my individuality in unique and special ways. I like my immediate, day to day environment to be focused on me and to allow me to maintain my independence. I think that I am the boss of me!” Mercury in Virgo says: “I think and communicate to maintain order and organization in my environment. I speak and write to be efficient and useful. I like for my day to be organized and orderly in order to help me make the best use of my time. I think I know the best and most efficient way to do things.” Read the rest here... http://electricmind.daynalynn.com/2011/mercury-retrograde-leovirgo-2011/ ------------------ my blog IP: Logged |

mercury conjunct sun generally gives a self centered approach to thinking and communicating similar to mercury in leo. depending on the orb, it can make it difficult to see other people's point of view or to be objective even if in an air sign. ------------------ my blog IP: Logged |

selfcentered-probably, but it's not necessarily difficult for me to see or understand other people's point of view. I can easily realize where they are comming from. it's just that I'm often surprised that they indeed think differently, that they see things from a different perspective. lol not mad, neither I want to convince them to adopt my point of view. just genuinely surprised Mercury is my final dispositor, btw.
