Does this placement make you feel you have no "voice",no power to assert your needs, wants, identity? Does it make you feel you must squish you voice which is your basic self expression? Thanks so much! IP: Logged |

What you write could be said about me, but my Chiron is 2H Pisces, conj SN and Pallas, opposite NN conjuct Pluto, both 8H Scorpio.IP: Logged |

wow, that's interesting, Ami. my partner has this placement.to make it worse, it's opposing his Virgo Stellium in the 8th house, including the exact opposition to Pluto. interestingly, his mother is also a BPD patient. he has never ever told his childhood traumas until he told me. he represses his feelings. it was shocking to me because i'm a Sagittarius blabber mouth. but i learnt from him to use this tactfully, to not just rush out and say everything. he also constantly belittles his talents and also about himself, he spent decades believing he's an ugly duckling, where looking back he's this tall skinny punk boy all the girls fancied. if that's part of what Chiron in the 3rd is doing, that's a pretty tragic placement! I have this placement, and I used to be that way, many, many years ago...Now I have to remind myself to "keep thy mouth shut." Matter of fact, have that message pasted to the back of my name badge at work! IP: Logged |

You know as I do charts I am getting a sense about Chiron. It is such a deep pain and the person acts like it was not such a big deal. The person builds an armor over it so it won't hurt so badly. It is a complex planet with many layers.I think it rules Virgo. My book on Chiron said this and it makes sense to me.

blugreyIt is aspected by opposition to natal Pluto in Virgo 8 deg and a Pisces Chiron of 7 deg. I have Saturn also in the 3rd 7 deg of Aqua, and my Pisces sun way off at 20 deg. The next closest would be Aries 0 deg, but another long shot. O and Ic/Mc 13 deg Pisces and Virgo respectively. I probably should add, which may make me different, that I have a loaded 3rd house. CLose stellium of Mars, Merc and Jupiter in Aqua, closely opposed to Uranus in Leo. hmmmmmm IP: Logged |

hippichick, you must be the same generation as my guy. i heard this Pluto/Chiron opposition is a tough one.Ami, mine's in the 5th house. i have NO CLUE what that might mean, or how tragic that is. maybe i'm repressing it. IP: Logged |

blugrey, Interesting point. Now, while I dont have a problem opening my mouth, I write much, much better, sometimes I can not get my thoughts across verbally and get all tongue tied and twisted and end up in the ether where nobody knows what the hell I am talking about (perfect illustration of my watery/air mix.) This is an interesting study, thanks Ami!!!

hmm interesting.. well my chiron is conjunct jupiter in the 3rd house. i would say that i deffinately held back a lot of things i wanted to say in school, or i just didnt speak up. i think i was underestimated by a lot of my school teachers becuase i was always too shy to show what i knew. but i was and i am still very scatter brained at times and restless. when i was in elementry a teacher told my mom i had ADD and i was dyslexic becuase i would write my name i would write my letters out of order. like i would skip vowels and stuff i dunno. i dont really think im dyslexic though. i use to supress my voice a lot more i still do im just picky with who i tell what. i have insecurities mentally, like im always trying to master whatever im learning or talking about and if i dont know a subject ill say just say that and not even try to get into it until i know it in more detail. that could be my virgo moon though. i was really sensitive to critisism when i was younger about my intelligence. but ive always had a funny time expressing my words, there always jumbled up and sometimes i stutter ha, and i use a lot of symbolism and metaphors. well sometimes when i talk i dont finish my sentences either IP: Logged |

i remember reading somewhere that 3rd house Chiron is excellent at holistic thinking or multi level thinking - de Bono writes about this
