Hi
What astrology shows the type of relationship experienced by the person with the natal. Yes the young person they are interacting with will also have a chart that could be used in synastry and composite but to keep it simple lets assume we are just talking about the natal of the adult. In placidus I have moon, uranus and pluto in 5th all involving relationships both good and bad with children. All these planets in 5th mean i cannot ignore children! On the plus side I have cancer rising which is really nurturing and good with this age group. Also the 10th house planets (at least 2 depending on which house system you use) keep the cancer rising in perspective so it doesn't become suffocating. On the negative side I have moon in virgo (that on its own would be good but its the aspect that makes it bad) square saturn in gemini. Sometimes when they are tired and you have done everything by the book I get really frustrated and just have to let someone else babysit them etc. Sometimes this is just 5 mins but it could be longer. So please share your findings. Moon in 5th and ruler of 10th in 5th are great for connecting with them and playing with them.

i experience a split with the genders. below 11 boys don't like me/ below 11 girls do or at least they don't hit me with pillows and call me a noob LOL. leo moon conjunct cancer mc. pisces in the 5th with lilith there. ruler of 5th in 3rd.IP: Logged |

I tend to get on well with kids even if I don't actually want them to like me. 5th house moon/chiron con in aries.I've had 6 of my own, can't say I was the best mother on the planet but we don't get on badly as a family lol. My sisters son has a habit of saying he wants to come and see his aunt just before he goes off on a tangent? I'm more disciplined than she is..... oh and I've got a leo sun IP: Logged |

Hmm...I have a 5th house Moon. I tend to treat kids like adults, as in I try to reason with them as I would with someone my age. I also have Gem Rising, which is said to get along well with children. I don't think kids like me more than other people, though. IP: Logged |

Yea, H4, H5, Aries, Leo, Cancer asc like you said.I have Leo asc trine Sadge Uranus in the 5th, with Neptune there too. I like my own kid (genuinely, we laugh all the time), I like her friends, but am not fond of young children as a whole cos they're insane (who isn't right) but it's a whole different brand. Anyway they talk to me, strange kids at my daughter's school walk up and say hey and tell me about everything, I go along with it, I'm not gonna tell them to shut up, but I dunno...if they want to clue me in on everything that fascinates them then I'm down with that, there are a lot too who make sure that when they wave to me and say hi that I have to say hi back, it's a big deal, they get stern with me if I'm not paying them attn, and these are kids I've never seen before, it's like "Excuse me, ma'am I was waving to you and saying good morning and you should take notice and respond back in turn.. I'm w a i t i n g." And these kids are 3 feet tall (!) and they're calling the shots, hahahha. I love brash kids, kids that stand out in some way and call attn to themselves, the dramatic ones. I had the best time in the early days taking my baby to the pediatrician cos there was always some kid (almost always a girl) on the carpet in the waiting area just flippin the f out throwing themselves on the floor in absolute tragedy. Hilarious. When my daughter started flipping out like that I'd dramatize the situation even more and act like I was a toddler mimicking her (but to a comedic extreme) omg she died of hysterics, the tension flew out of the room and she was just rolling with laughter, then she'd say 'do it again' and then I'd get bigger laughs, so maybe I taught her a sense of humor in that way from the early days (H5 Sadge, Jupiter in the 4th). In our lil 'comedic sessions' as I call them I throw in a lot of twists and turns and she has to be very mentally sharp to keep up with the joke, but she's a Gemini, Aqua rising so she can deal with the best of them. My h5 Sadge Uranus falls right on her MC so I'm sure she thinks I'm bonkers, esp since she also has Moon conj Uranus & Moon trine Jup. IP: Logged |

cute! i like cute kids, the not so cute ones i don't really want to play with. my cousin bribed me once with her allowance if i would play with her ahaha! they mustav sensed the venus in taurus. i'd be happy with 1 taurus boy/ 1 pisces girl. my 5th and 7th. IP: Logged |

^ It'll go down to the 5th, planets there, sign that dominates that house, what sign the ruler is in and where it's placed esp if there are no H5 placements.For ex my dad has Scorp on cusp of untenanted H5, Pluto is in Leo in the 1st.
---I have Leo Asc, Asc ruler Sun (dad) in the 8th, Pluto conj IC and highly aspected. My mom had Capricorn on cusp of untenanted H5, Saturn was in Cancer in the 11th conj Merc.
---I have Moon (mom)/Venus in Cap sq Saturn, Saturn is in Libra (Air = H11) conj Mars/Pluto, Saturn in the 3rd, Aqua Merc sext Uranus, Moon in Cap conj Merc in Aqua. I have late Scorp on cusp of H5, but it mostly has Sagittarius in there, Uranus/Neptune in H5, Jupiter and Pluto are both in the 4th.

You do the analysis in a really good way.
Its really interesting to see all the crossovers in astrology, I have done my family and there are definate themes running though them like strong planetary influences. Star4cast.com has some analysis on the beckhams too, it has a tob and dob for david but no tob for victoria.

LOL @ Lonake- That's so funny!Most kids like me, some love me! Little babies seem to really love me... Even when they are crying their heart out - if I smile at them, they always stop. There was a kid who I'm sure I have some sort of karma with because he knew everything about me before I said anything. It was quite strange.. Usually they ask a lot of questions. But he was like "oh are you *this age*" and he got it right... *have u been on a plane today?" and he got it right... "do u have a dog?" - "is his name ****?" "what's your favourite cartoon... wait... can i guess..?" He got it all right!!!!

It's funny. I feel uncomfortable around kids and lack confidence in my ability to be "fun" with them. But they seem to like me anyway. I swear, I've had so many bus and plane trips where some little kid was seated next to me, and then decided I was their new best buddy and started talking my ear off.My mom says it's because I don't baby-talk, even to small kids, and they appreciate not being treated like babies. *shrug* I dunno! I also very clearly remember once some of my parents' friends were visiting. Their son, who was about six or seven years old at the time, was acting up, and I scolded him. I never scold kids if I can help it - that's their parents' job! At the time he got all sulky and resentful about it, but the funny thing is that every time he visited after that he was on his best behavior with me. Capricorn Mars in the 5th. LOL, I actually had a thread that was sort of like this, not too ago. Kids like me ALOT better than adults do, that's the short of it. Its surprising when I see the difference between the way kids treat me and the way most of my own peers do. I get on easily with under 11 year old kids. Though I can be stern, they still like me anyway. My 5th house is Taurus, 6th Gemini, with ruler of both 5th and 6th in the 9th house.
Teaching young kids is a natural for me, as I have been a teacher/tutor for some time, including the present. I see it as a day job, but certainly not a career.IP: Logged |
