Well effin' A to the Pluto in Scorpio thread that got lost because the convo was gettin' good. But in a pseudo-continuance of that I thought we'd pick out astro themes of favorite TV shows! I'll start with Being Human (UK). I took it straight from my personal thread so I've had to edit it for more coherency.

And I also love how easy it is to pick out certain astro "themes" on here. On this show, there's an obvious water triplicity...in the form of houses none the less...but its obvious. (SPOILER ALERT BELOW)

Annie is the 12th house, especially in the second season. Between her obvious sensitivity to not knowing where she belongs, I can't help but relate. Everything's a bit 'murky' surrounding her cause of death, and she pretty much 'invisible' until Mitchell and George come around. She does become visible to others again with confidence, but adverse events always send her into a relapse. In season 2 her 'purpose' comes into question again as she watches the new developments of George's and Mitchell personal lives without her. By series 3 it seems she believes her purpose is what she does for other people (mainly Mitchell/George/Nina), also very Piscean. But in true fashion, the 12th house and the 8th unite (her and Mitchell) and hey, it makes sense since they are both 'dead' in a way. But he saves her, and she saved him too....for a while. =__=

Mitchell - is obviously the 8th house...but not in the annoying way that you'll find with your Edward Cullens or whatever; Mitchell is not a wet blanket. He's actually very laid back and easygoing (staying true to the actor's Gemini Stellium I guess)but he's also smoldering and always fighting a darkside at the same time. Maybe there's some saturn in there too? He's often dubbed the unofficial father figure since he's been on this earth longer and is very wise for someone who still looks 25. In the show, his vampire lust for blood is even compared to a drug addiction, a compulsion. Its also the reason why sex and death (or killing) are, unfortunately, synonymous for him...in 8th house fashion. And also staying true to this area, he's only freed from his addiction in the end through death. Its sad, but he reminds me of a guy I almost got involved with once. smh

George is the 4th house. The key word that comes to me is self-preservation, in the first season. As a new werewolf, he stays away from people and most social contact for fear of exposing himself and endangering them (Cancer/4th is about protection all around). The 4th house is traditionally the deep part of us that we don't want to show to others, and for George that's literally the monster in the closet. He's also literally ruled by the moon, as what happens to him every 28 days? By the 2nd Series he tries to find a dubious way to get around it, but in the end...he ends up with one of his own (Nina), one person who will understand and relate to him things that others cannot (in typical Cancerian fashion). By series 4 you start to hear the concept of the "wolfpack" which is definitely 4th housey-Cancerian, but they don't really explore it much, I guess since McNair was too paranoid and isolating to consider it. Between his time of and month, and strong need to protect the house...I just can't help but love him. Funny, neurotic, quirky, somewhat complex, that's George.

Interesting, Sand. I've never watched Dexter but I know of two people with Mercury in Aqua (one also having Venus there) who love it. I just briefly read the plot and the idea of the guy killing off the morally bankrupt baddies (perhaps) for the good of society DOES sound Aquarian in a kooky sort of way. But then again, I haven't watched the show so forgive me if my little summary doesn't cover it.

I haven't seen it but I read a brief synopsis and it sounds like a very 12th house/Pluto mix of show. Though that's just my blanket opinion.
