7th house symbolizes anything that comes towards you from the outside.
Usually these are people. And they can come in the form of a friendly encounters(lovers/ Partners/ personal friends) or in the form of critical / hostile encounters (open enemies).

But whatever comes to you through your 7th house is very much related to you, as part of the 1st-7th house axis.

And yes, the 7th house can be very much about friends, too, but personal, intimate friends, where the friendship is based on the personality, whereas 11th house friends usually share some common goals / ideals/ hobbies etc.

I mean--isn't it hard to figure out which is which just by looking at a chart such as if you have Uranus in the 7th--how would you know if it would mean open enemies or abrupt stops and starts in love affairs?

Thing is, it could be both.

The range of manifestation is what makes astrology interesting, but also kind of hard to pin down.

I guess it also depends a bit on the aspects the planet in the 7th house has. If Uranus is connected to 5th house ruler or Venus, it might be more indicative of love affairs and partnerships; a connection to Saturn, Mars and 12th house might bring more animosity into play.

But that is just a tendency, it doesn`t have to be that way. Even Uranus in 7th house square Saturn-Mars-conjunction in the 12th house can describe loverelationships; but maybe within that relationship there will be tensed feelings that have to be dealt with.

In the way that someone can be equally fascinated by you at one turn and then go to the opposite since you're showing them a part of themselves by acting out that they're not comfortable with. H7 involves a lot of projection which can get messy. Feelings can turn around in an instant. The one thing you adore about someone could soon turn into something that you despise. It's the energy that can turn from love to hate which is all projection. H7 mirror image. Hope this makes sense to you.

Police would fall under a 7th house open enemy because if you break the law, they will arrest you or give you a ticket etc.

get it?
they're not hiding
you know they could be there
enforcing the law
hence, open enemies

Apparently police are ruled by mars saturn virgo h6.
I know someone with a mars/saturn conj in h6 I'm gonna ask them about any run ins.

h7 rules competitors, opponents, the prosecution, etc.
It wouldn't be police cos they're ruled more by saturn they enforce laws but they're not out to get you (haha usually) if you mind the law. Heck, i've not minded the law at times, been seen by police and they never acted like they were my enemy I just had a quick convo with them and that was it, and I have mars conj saturn.

It's basically the people you meet who you **** off 'just by being you', but also in other situations as stated above and how they act in return, their manner, personality, etc. I think Taurus Asc would be the worst for this cos they have Scorp on their 7th. I have heard of some messes they run into and none of it is their fault but they just have that nasty Scorp way of relating sometimes (not the eagle mind) so there it is.

Personally, I think 7th house is what you reflect to both people you love and people you are openly enemies with.
If you have a Capricorn 7th house - when you have an enemy, you will counter them in the way that a Capricorn would.
The enemies could also have Capricorn like qualities.

I have Mars transiting my 7th house. When it hits 18 degrees Cancer, it will hit my Saturn in the 7th. I assume my enemies will come out to play. And police will be involved right along with it. Oh well. I pretty much just think that I will encounter my enemy around that time.

i'm a taurus 7th houser. if i had open enemies i'd use my scorpio planets in the first. that would not be so "open" until the time is right. i guess with sun and venus there i'd act very libran/ diplomatic until i can find a rock to smash on their head LOLOL!

If you have Mars you look for bold direct people
If you have the moon you look for emotional people

Have neptune in scorpio in the 7th house so maybe my enemies aren't quite so open or maybe with my trust issues, I create enemies that don't exist?

I think my leo mars dictates the kind of person I'm attracted to because I like strong, powerful personalites who know their worth and aren't shy about it. (but only if it's actually true. Someone who tries to make themselves out to be more than they are, is a big turn off)
