Semi sextile signs since they'll usually have personal planets in the others sun sign (mercury and/or venus).

Personal experiences only: water and earth is usually very good together. Like 'speaking the same language' good.
Water and air can be good, too. Rather the 'interesting/refreshing but tiring in the long run' kind.

I read that Fire and Water can get along because they are the more emotionally driven signs. Then Earth and Air can get along because they are more logical thinking about their feelings process things that way similarly. So in that way those elements share commonality  ! So a Sag and a Pisces can get along because they both might be able to meet at the same emotional wavelength and since they are both mutable can get on well. ^_^------------------

I believe that "like attracts like" and each sign is romantically the most compatible with signs from the same element, but in cases of friendship I think Fire & Earth and Air & Water is very compatible.IP: Logged |

I've had good experiences with Earth-Fire connections. Usually Aries - we're totally different, but there's something there that draws us both in. I'm equally fond of Earth-Air connections. Many of my close friends have been air signs. They keep me from becoming too shy or serious, and I'm a grounded, calm energy for them. I also have an air Moon/Mars, so that definitely helps.
