There's a mini article in the Divorce section of Huffington Post about compatible zodiac signs and......it's so far from being close to hitting the nail on the head. Whoever wrote it decided that Sun sign compayibility doesn't always keep a couple together. Really? And all this time I've been looking at the aspects between other planets. According to the article, we shouldn't trust astrologists who tell us that we could have a lasting relationship with a similar sign to our own. I'm so going to fire that witch! Who does she think she is charging me for a load of garbage they sell near check-out lines?! This is such an outrage!IP: Logged |

What?! A Sun sign won't tell me everything about my self and everyone around me? That's it, I quit astrology!IP: Logged |

I wouldn't trust astrologists either... Astrologers on the other hand! Really, every article on astrology I've ever read in a non-astrology oriented magazine always had generalizations established on which they form an opinion. Heck, even so-called fool proof scientific experiments are based on those! In Dutch we have a lovely saying for that, which translates to: cobbler, stick with your job. Those who don't know or understand astrology, should not form an opinion of it. Demand your money back! Surely you can get a refund for recieving misleading information about a certain topic? Then again, in that case, tabloids would go bankrupt. Hmm.

Oh God that reminds me of all those articles about the zodiac a few months ago. SO frustrating. It's like, yeah, that's cool dude, but we use the tropical zodiac. As if people who believe in astrology and study astronomy are mutually exclusive. IP: Logged |

It's one of the things that annoys me. People are willing to accept a small part of something and think there can't possibly be more to explain why and how. Lol at everyone. I can't get over "astrologist". Journalists these days... Here's the link for anyone interested: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/08/celebrity-divorce-zodiac-compatibility_n_919897.html#s323585&title=Taurus_and_Scorpio It would be interesting to look at the charts of the celebrity couples in the slideshow. I have a feeling Neptune is involved. IP: Logged |
