and post your chart
once we have enought people comment we can look for tatoo and chart resmblance.
DON'T give your observations until enough ppl have posted...and try to think about your chart as little as possible...just focus on what kind of tattoo you'd get, and we'll do the astrology bit later!! I have 2.. A butterfly on my breast and
an 8 with a S and roses/vines on my left arm it goes from my wrist to my elbow.. I will explain the meanings a bit later.

I don't have any tats yet, but if I have my way, I'll end up with several. The one I have sketched out and am planning on getting once I find the funding is three Russian nesting dolls (matryoshka) going down my upper arm, one smaller than the next. I'm part Russian on my grandmother's side, and the symbolism could be applied to my grandmother, mother and sister. One came from the other which came from the other.  IP: Logged |

I don't have a single tat but if I were ever to get one and I highly doubt it since I'm sure my Daughter would disapprove it would be a little Red Frog Leo rising

A part of me would really want to get the rune Mannaz tattooed on my ring finger.. or the Om sign. However a part of me would fall madly in love and tattoo a wedding ring in utter stupidity so it doesn't make much sense. Mannaz is the rune for mankind, service, or the path to enlightenment. I've got one on my lower back. Hope the pic is not too big...  I am kind of tired of that one, I never see it and often forget it's even there which in my opinion is not why you get a tattoo in the first place. But it's there now so I might as well leave it there. It does have an interesting meaning anyway. If I ever find the right design (or design it myself, because I'm not very likely to ever FIND the design that I want), I would get one other tattoo. Something quite rediculous if you think about it but at the same time something which someone who doesn't know much about astrology will never be able to decypher. Rather than what everyone does and have their sun sign tattooed on them, I would want something, probably on my ankle, which represents my mercury/ASC in Sag. It would be mostly with colours, but I've no idea how to do it in a simple way with it still looking good and not too obvious... I like tattoos, I think they can be works of art in their own right and you can't but appreciate the effort which is put behind putting them there. It's not easy to do, and some of them really are gorgeous. I just don't like them too much on myself, or on a partner. A few is fine, but not someone who's completely covered... i'm not sure if i'll ever get it, but i always wanted a realistic life-sized tattoo of an ant on my neck, so that people would mistake it for a real ant and try to brush it off. i didn't have any flirty thoughts behind it or anything, just thought it would be funny to fool people...

if i was going to get a tatoo it would be something simbolizing restriction...but in a good way....i feel we all need boundries...
i was thinking about my chart and i have capricorn in 8th house....i wanted to see how many of your tattoos matched your 8th house....-lioness your 8th is in libra....all i can say it's pretty...does it have anything to do with relationships, or equality, or anything libra like -nothernland...yours is in cancer....it's kind of related...because cancer is family and your doing something that represents family heratage -doreen...pisces 8th and ared frog...idk....is it related to the prince frog that you had to kiss...like fairy tale...could be pisces -mochai- your is in aquarius ...wedding ring, a bit 'odd'/rebelious/unconforming like aquarius..the whole man kind, service...could be aquarin too..right -jupiter girl i don't know wht a cresent is.... -aya ...you didn't go into the meaning, does the meaning have anything gemini related to it...it's probably some philosophy related thing..right... something intelectual....right.... -pisces moon...idk how that would be a sag thing -lenchien....i don't know how that would be a cancer 8th IDK!!!!!! do any of you have any theories...do they match up with the charts posted

I love art, being creative and find a lot of inspiration in beauty. However, i don't like the permanance of tattoos, which is why i've never particularly liked them or desired having one. I am quite fussy, especially when it comes to my own body and i prefer natural beauty.. as i think bare, natural and clean skin is beautiful in its own right. Don't get me wrong, i love and appreciate the work that goes into them and some i've seen are pure works of art! I've had the odd fleeting moment where i've thought i'd like one, but i know when it would come down to it i'd regret it and would find fault with it. I respect the fact people get them done for significant meaningful reasons or just simply coz they wanna lol! But, for me i love the simplicity and purity of au naturale... IP: Logged |

Also, please people don't be offended its just my personal opinion! i find that tattoos, mainly on women can cheapen the whole look (Not always, but generally)If you have a really classy looking outfit for example a tattoo doesn't necessarily complement it, especially the legs or upper arms. i'd like to get away from tattoo discussions...
just people that have a tattoo that their passionate about
people that can say --that's the one--..about their tattooi understand what you're saying, it doesn't fit everyones tastes...
i'd just like to keep it specific since a lot of people are posting....so i'd like it to be as direct as possible...

@hmmmm Well yeah sort of... My tat is about life in general... The Vine which goes around in circles, ups and downs..
Its a reminder..
The vine is road of life you have ups and downs and sometimes you spin in circles... You have to remember to stop and smell the roses along the path... Life is a struggle but there is always so good along the way. The S and 8.... The S is my first initial the 8 is my karma.. The S hangs from the 8.
ITs on my wrist so I can always "see" it. I chose to clear my karma in this life, This reminds me that the "bad" is my clearing my karma to learn from it and accept it..Because something good is just around the corner.. The butterfly..
I was extremely shy has a child.. I rarely spoke to anyone.. Had very few friends..

I have one on my thigh.2 flowers, roughly about 6" x 4" in size, full colour. I like tattoos, am interested in knowing the reason why people get them. I love the one I have and care not about what anybody else thinks of it! Am planning the next one, maybe something astrological or some words of wisdom...  IP: Logged |

I was thinking the whole.. having an ant on your neck would cause people to want/need to nurture you and get it off so it doesn't bite etc. Thus being reassuring in a cancerian type way.I like service to others, but it's also really self centered.. wanting to stop reincarnating. IP: Logged |

I have 5 tattoos...1 which is senseless. An ex's name from way long ago on my chest. My grandmom's name with a bleeding rose on my arm, a fire dragon on my inner ankle extending onto my foot, a purple lotus on my lower back & love written in korean on my inner left wrist. Restrictions... Where is your Saturn, Hmmm? Is your 8th house full? By the way, not sure if it's clear but my 8th house is in Cancer, not Gemini  The meaning behind the design is pretty simple: it just means "eternity". In fact, most knotwork means simply that. I was playing with the idea to have an oak tree tattooed over it, with the roots around that knot, but lack of decent design, lack of ability to design it myself and the idea that seeing the size of that knot, adding a full grown oak tree relative to that size would mean my back would be completely covered. I didn't want that at all. But I'm sure you can see the symbolism of that combination  ------------------

 Such a Capricorn thing to get:  It's a personal reminder. I'm human, I don't always make the best choices. Bad decisions always come back to hit me three times a hard. It's to make me think twice when I do something  My parents birth dates. In some old gothic font and roman numerals. Also fitting.
