We are such opposites, yet get along so well. I'm talkative an' active, dark an' broody. She's refined an' soft-spoken...so light and peaceful. I can honestly say I love her. She is my best friend.

Do ya have a best friend? Someone ya share the world with? Someone ya couldn't do without? I feel bashful sayin' it so publicly, but I have no shame.

What kinda friends do you have?

Sadly I dont have his time of birth. I will have to ask him next time I see him

I think my only issue I have had with him is that he gossips a bit too much, so I have learned to be careful around him.

awww I just saw his Jupiter in Aquarius conjunct my Psyche in the same degree. He definitely makes my soul feel lighter !! He is also hyperactive and energises me.. while he annoys a lot of other people because of his hyperactiveness. He is a very quirky awesome person. I wouldn't be surprised if he is an Aqua ASC as well! I do miss living with him sometimes but glad that he is not getting all the goss on me and telling our friends!! LOL

One's my brother. We could easily be twins, we are simply on the same level. He is Taurus Sun (opposite), Aries Moon (sextile) and Pisces ASC (square). He has a few planets in 1st too, but has a bit in Libra as well. He has more Earth than I do, but despite his water ASC he's very fiery. I suppose he has pretty much the same elemental balance as I do in my chart.

The other one is someone I hardly hear, but I know he has my back and when I need help he will give it. He doesn't want anything in return. He has quite a bit of fire too, Sagittarius ASC like myself, nearly the same degree even. Aries Sun. Aquarius Moon. A few things in Pisces. Not a lot of Earth but he seems to overcompensate rather than lack, seeing his discipline to not touch alcohol, traditional rules and values that he stubbornly holds on to. Very Earthy of him. Anyway, I'm not the type to say I love these friends. Love is not a word that appears in my vocabulary even. But my brother is family and I've always been close to him, and that other best friend I consider to be my extended family. He also calls me his little sister because he feels the same way. I don't constantly think of them or feel particularly happier if I think about them, but I am always grateful to have people like them in my life that I can rely on no matter what. That means a lot more to me than feeling love for someone.

Oh yeah, I'm a Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon and Sagittarius ASC by the way I'm not your most emotional woman

Well now of days I just have friends, no one is really my best friend. Maybe I'll share who I'm friends with nowa days later...But I've been hanging out with my friend from highschool almost everyday lately...She has a lot of Capricorn and Sag placements. I like her because she makes plans and has this gift where she can just get a whole bunch of people together. I think the Sag and Cap placement give her such a drive for both work and play

But, on the other hand, it is great to have someone who "grows" with you (so to speak) and seems to inspire you to be your authentic self.

I have 3 so far. Wonderful people.

the first has been with me the longest

Interesting question.

When people talk of "best" friends, they usually express the term when they are in a good mood or the friendship/ relationship they have with the significant other is still at a happy place.

But my term of frienship is not based on "good","better" or "best". It is based on context.

My friendships tend to be very talkative people who are good at expressive themselves in words. Viewing the world in words and analysing their feelings(very honestly) with words. I appreciate that from all of them.

But , all the same, I do not rate my frienships according to "good", "better" or "best".

With my Aquarian friend,for instance, I feel that I can talk about off-the wall concepts and ideas and he'll just "catch" my drift.

But I also find it very difficlut to be emotional with him(unless I am speaking of my emotions from an intellctual/distancing perspective). He seems to be impassive when I feel too intense. In times like those, I don't talk to him.

My Aries friend is extremely bright and he seems to respect my opinion. I have mercury in Capricorn forming a trine aspect to his moon in Virgo.

I also have my Asc(Taurus)squaring his Asc(Leo);I guess that is where the whole "fatherly" thing comes from- given that Taurus and Leo have a "father-child", "boss-employee" relationship.
I find myself always editing him and , in a way, "fathering" him.

He once gave me a compilation he wrote and asked me to look at it and no matter how many people told him of how great it is(including an amateur writer), he took my opinion hard when I told him that I thought it was "mediocre" and he can do better.

But I also know that with him, I have to be sensitive to his feelings and not ignore him when he wants attention. He tends to act like a drama king when he doesn't get enough "mic" time.

But all the same, he is swell. Absolute fun.

The third one is a bit of an indirect person.

I think we connect because of our venus-venus conjunction; we seem to have the same taste in things.

He is able to look at two sides of an argument(mercury and Sun in Libra) and though he does have a side, he doesn't force his own opinion on you and allows for a discussion. I respect that.

It could be maybe cause my Mars is in Libra but I like people who go into a discussion leaving their ego and "wanting to be right" behind. I end up learning so much more from these people.

But with all that being said, he can be quite unpredictable, come off as insensitive (his moon in Aries forms a square to mine in Cancer).

At such times, when he is playing the whole "tough" thing, I just give him space.

I think over time, when a friendship is evolved, people can sit in a friendship being nothing else/no one else except themselves.And that would not only be "fine" but absolutely necessary. Transparency is necessary.

Also, for me it's not necessary for two people to have a great deal in common to become friends(although that would be ideal), but it is enough for them to appreciate each other above all "differences" and arguments.

That would be a relationship that is mature and developed.

I have my Mars in Libra, Sun-Jupiter-Neptune conjuct in Sag and so I tend to be a little too idealistic(forgive me).
