OMG! I just checked the Erso/Psyche places of a "friend". His Eros and Psyche are conjunct in Aquarius...AND guess where they are conjunct???

Right on my Sun! That explains so much!

My Eros is on his Venus/Mercury conjunction in Sagitarius. And his Sun in on Mars in Scorpio. I don't think it gets any hotter than this and from personal experience...it doesn't!

The icing on the cake is My Sun opposite his Leo Mars...which falls in my 8th house. The chemistry is AMAZZZZING! Plus we've got some nice Sun/Moon trine, venus trine moon etc etc.... Jupiter too! This is the best synastry I've ever seen.

(I'm on the inside)

Only thing is that I think we are both committment phobes. I mean an Aries and Gemini Moon...umm yea.

I wanna hear about your juice, haute, sizzling synastry aspects!!

Those are great placements but the Psyche is not a sexual asteroid. Eros/Psyche combined is more like a soulmate linkage. The Eros, Sun, & Mars placements are definitely spicey.

The most sexual asteroids in my opinion are:
Juno (also involves marriage)
Eros (which you have)
Pallas
Lust
Sappho
Nessus (can be abusive)
Nymphe

My top vote goes to :

1. Mars QUINDECILE Venus

and in close second place :

2. Venus, Sun, Moon, Mars or Jupiter CONJUNCT Sappho.

(Orbs for both must be tight - 1 degree)

mmm ... my favourite asteroid! In the words of Kim Falconer "Sappho brings new meaning to sexual attraction! She is a tactile, luscious, indulgent and heady combination that may express through song, music, fine dinning, lyrics, play, sensual massage, aroma therapy, pleasure and naturally, sex (of the most inventive kind). Aspirations augment, as do creative drive and vitality! The view of the world can become extraordinary, intoxicating."

Intoxicating is the word - you end up doing things you only dreamed of! If your Sappho is on the love interest’s planets you SO mess with his/her mind (and hormones). Just by showing up.

P.S. I also must admit that I think Eros conjunct Psyche is pretty special.

Hmmm...natally, sappho is part of a t-square with my sun and mars. sun at the apex. its trine my venus.

his mars in leo completes the t-square with my sun, mars and sappho.

OOH! His Sappho is conjunct my Venus. 7 degrees orb though...

its not like we need more sexy contacts LOL.

Pallas is a sort of "feminist" and it has to do more with a woman's sexual needs then mens. Sort of like Lilith, where not only is it dark but feminie power & sexuality.
So Lilith is women's dark taboos & sexual needs. While Pallas is women's (inner warrior) and sexual needs.

I never looked at it that way moonfish. But it makes a lot of sense. I have an exact Sun/Pallas conjucntion in Aquarius. And in addition to my Scorpio Mars... I will say that warrior describes me well. But not a male/masculine warrior. Feminine Yin...using internal power or mind emotion and spirit rather than force or physical strength

I have Scorpio mars too
Sun-Pallas is a great aspect for women in my opinion. More than likely you won't be the type of girl that allows people, especially men to walk all over them.
I have Sun conjunct Mars - sextile my Lilith and Pallas conjunct Mars (wide 4 degs). I'm a feminist

yes, interesting angle on Pallas! Like taking ownership on your own sexual needs and making sure they get as much attention in getting satisfied as the those of the partner - an equal exchange of energy! I think it may be true that many people are so anxious about pleasing "the other" that they forget about how sexy it is to also know what you want for yourself.

Exactly! :]
I just did a little research I found that Lady Gaga's Sun sextiles Lilith & squares Pallas. Beyonce has Mars trine Lilith, Moon & Uranus square Pallas, Venus & Pluto sextile Pallas.

I think the difference between harsh and harmionus aspects is the harsh might take more action? For instance, lady gaga's song Bad Romance in my opinion is about women using men for sex just like men use women. Beyonce's song Who run the world is definite girl power.

That's true. It feels like we melt into each other when we're physically close. It just feels right. I could spend all day hugging him or I could also spend all day having sex with him. It's a nice mix of raunchy and sweet.

Sun conj Pluto? I felt the exact same thing with a Libra once. Ah-may-zing. I was the Pluto person.

Possible mutual NNode conj DSC, his Venus on my Mars and my Eros on his Mars. The latter all being in Capricorn.

Maybe it's not what caused it, but there was just an amazing attraction there, we couldn't stay off each other.

honestly? hottest sex ever was with my first love who i am missing and considering opening my heart to again. i just checked our synastry and it has several of these.. oh jeez.. all the orbs are under 3.

his eros conjunct my sappho
my eros conjunct his ceres exact
his psyche cj my sun, mercury, mars
his juno is on my IC exact
his sun conjunct my moon exact
our jupiters exactly conjunct

and we have his stellium of venus, mars and mercury on top of my IC, trining my stellium of neptune, AC, venus, eros.

and his IC is on my DC.

oh and my pallas is on our composite AC exact which makes more sense than i can articulate. as well, our jupiters are on our compo DC exact.

sigh. it's really too much of a good thing i think and scares the hell out of us both.

our moons are opposed; his is in scorpio conjunct our uranuses. so that is his sun and my moon opposed his moon and our uranuses. scary exciting intense stuff. but all the rest of it is so totally amazing and psychic and fluid (and i'm sure the intense stuff is part of how great it is as well). sigh again.

edit. oh man my juno is on his AC. uhhhhh.

The only guy I fell in love with

We had eros (mine) conjunct (his) psyche (1 degree) with moon and pluto conjunct the former two by 1ish degrees (so a tight cluster of the four) on the line btwn 7th and 8th house in Scorpy.

His eros square my psyche (1 degree)

My moon and venus conjunct his desc (both by less than a degree)

His moon was in my 8th house (my moon in his 7th)

His pluto in my 8th, my pluto in his 7th lol

His venus and mercury trines my moon and venus all by 1ish degrees (he has venus conjunct merc (1ish degrees) and I have moon conjunct venus (2 degrees)

Venus square mars
Mars opposition mars
Asc conjunct asc lol
vertex conjunct desc (4 degrees) and vertex and juno (3-4 degrees)

His sun and valentine conjunct my IC (1 degree)

Sun sextile moon (0'11- so completely EXACT)

There's alot more aspects, but lol that's all I can be bothered with writing.

He had his karma exact conjunct my sun ( like literally 0'03 or sth like that)

We had sensual, explosive and unforgettable sex. Soulmate sex is just different.

Lonake - Female Sappho square Male Venus. (Sappho/Venus are probably the ultimate Sappho contacts, due to the natural receptiveness of Venus). Sizzling hot. You have the capacity to arouse him both mentally through your mind and physically - but with the square there is an extra edge of you both being thrown way out of your comfort zones, while being turned on anyway. You might need to break through that barrier! The Venus person is the Muse for the Sappho person and is the one who gets intoxicated by the actions of Sappho, by her words and the way she moves ... and so the Dance will start on a level he has never experienced before. Sappho will find herself opening up to her muse almost automatically, finding her inner sensual poet which may be expressed in different ways, most of which will take even her by surprise. Meaning, there will be something about him which encourages her to expose parts of her (inner)self which normally find no expression because they are too intense and intimate. In short,I suppose you could say that the Sappho person takes the lead as the inspiration which leads the couple into territory that is both luscious and hedonistic, but Sappho needs Venus as a motivator and as the one who reflects the experience back through his participation in it.

Seelah ... similar thing with you. With the conjunction there is more compulsion and less difficulty for Mr Sun in tuning into your Sappho-ness. The intoxicating headiness he feels in your presence will be slightly different from Mr Venus. Instead of just melting romantically and seamlessly into the experience like Mr Venus, Mr Sun will shine brightly under the the ministrations of Sappho and get a real ego-boost from her presence.

Sappho (in Greek mythology) was actually bisexual, so her attraction can go both ways .... but as a general principle for astrological purposes, the influence of Sappho is more the concept of her bringing an intense intimacy as well as sensual and lyrical awakening to relationships of all kinds, which is expressed both sexually and in other more subtle ways.

T, thanks (!) for responding...I love that you added in Jupiter there with Sappho (#80) since I have mine sorta conj in Scorp (Sappho 8'40/Jup 10'19) and I've always drawn in a certain number of Scorp Venuses that conj that point and found it more than steamy (something deeper than Venus conj Jup, I mean).
How funny that you mentioned Sappho too since I just started reading about her after not reading the astro of it for 2 yrs I think, and that was right before I saw your response here.
Anyway, what I meant with Jupiter too, is that I have been in relationship to people with conj Jup to mine yet not of the same age bracket and it was indeed intense, v.close, and there you go my Sappho is right there, so thank you for picking up on it. It was right there but I didn't make the connection as Jup to me isn't a personal planet, but it emphasizes, certainly, you are so right.

quote:
The Venus person is the Muse for the Sappho person

This sits VERY strongly with me. I definitely feel inspired by people who have Venus sq that pt! Something is stirred to life. They bring something new to my realm of experience, reaching past prev. set boundaries and I feel free to venture on with them in tow. How true (!) And yes of course Venus needs to want to participate in what we're doing or communicating no matter how simple the exchange cos it feeds into my..imagination, something like that. Something in me is fired up there.
The only dumpy thing for me is my Jup is sq their Venus too and you know Jup always offers in the sq more than Venus wants to receive lol.
O well (!) Better off giving too much than not enough.

"sensual and lyrical awakening to relationships of all kinds"
---Yes, I found so so so much of our interaction just magical, from day one, and this is minus the sex just the day to day of getting to know and being with each other. Do you know with one of them I introduced myself to him (we were neighbors in the same apt complex) and we spent a week together from day 1, no sex in that wk, but just something magical and I guess from what you wrote it had to be Sappho. There was something so close between us (Despite having sq Moons), and it was intoxicating. The sex came later and that was good as well, but we didn't need the sex to feel that connection. I can't describe it as well as you can; it was a great read (!)
