What aspects make for a body builder? Not necessarily in a professional way... But you know the rock hard bodies... Most of the men I met are into body building and have HUGE muscles... Is that my Leo Mars thats attracted to it? Also my Venus in Cancer makes me a sucker for a man's chest... My personal weakness If his face is ok but he has a nice chest.. Im IN.. It dependes on the body builders history. And why that person started lifting weights. If you look at pictures from back in the olden days you would hardly see any big chest because no body reaaly thought about laying down and lifting it off their chest, it was mostly big shoulders. So there are many aspects to working out, why and how your doing it will not always give you a big chest as a result from body building although the bench press is probabaly the most know wieghlifting exercisr know to man as well as the bicep curl.IP: Logged |

Not sure but my venus is in leo and my mars is in virgo. My sun is in cancer. My personal opinion is that I like to work out but I don't necessarily work out to body build I mostly work out so I can be fit and strong. That always doesn't guarantee a big chest. So no my chest isn't big and I wouldn't like a big chest since I don't like to really stand out in a crowd. I think a big chest would do that so I try not to go crazy on the bench press. But for some reason I do like muscular bodies oddly enough on women. IP: Logged |

http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc457/xatnes/jdf.gif My friend who is into body building. I think a lot of body builders do it for insecurity reasons.. like they don't feel good enough or man enough deep down inside so they feel they have to get some macho charisma going by having huge pecs and traps. The majority of them are clueless about how to work out though. My friend and I used to joke about the guy who'd sit on a bench press all day, neglecting everything else and how much they were wasting their time with the risk of injury.Me personally, I don't have to do jack to get huge muscular definition. It's kind of annoying actually. Right now I can see all these striations in my deltoids, and even if I starve myself of protein and do a lot of cardio the muscle doesn't exactly go away. I'm totally turned off by muscle.. which is frustrating because I would totally do well in a relationship with a more scientifically oriented body builder who would like my muscle. You want to spend all your time in the gym? Awesome!! And we could talk about really nerdy scientific stuff about metabolic conversions in the human body, eat super healthy together, and talk about our progress in our workouts (a lot of my friendship with the above actually revolved around that only he was getting a bs in biology). I go to the gym quite a bit myself and my belief is that body-building, for some of the guys I go with, is more than just "for chicks".Yes, there are some who do it for attention from the ladies but others seem to do it for professional reasons. Some of these guys will stand stark naked, looking in the mirror and showing each other which parts they think they should work more on. Other people may interpret such an atmosphere as homeo-erotic and I guess that is why guys feel uncomfortable looking at another guy's bod and saying "man, you look good" without being thought of as gay. I usually associate the following positions to body-building. Sun, Moon, Asc and Mars in Taurus. Lots of perseverance Sun, Moon, Asc and Mars in Aries. Competitive spirits. Sun, Moon, Asc and Mars in Leo. Strong will to be their best. Sun, Moon, Asc and Mars in Scorpio. Preoccupation to "alter" oneself. Sun, Moon, Asc and Mars in Capricorn Motivation to be admired by others. The oppositions, Squares and conjuctions are also relevant. HI I agree that there are many reasons for bodybuilding. Look at lance armstrong (ok not a body builder but top sports athlete) and arnold schwartzeggener (sorry can't spell it)BOTH sun pluto conjunction types which spells out powerhouse of a person so they have to put all that energy to good use. Mochai put up a chart that is fire earth mix and marjorie orr calls that a steamroller of a personality, can keep going long after others have dropped by the wayside, lots and lots of energy, again it has to go somewhere. Mars pluto and scorpio mars are also high energy, it needs to be channelled somewhere and bodybuilding is a positive outlet if not taken to too many extremes. One of my exs, a triple scorpio worked out for 2-3 hours a time at least 3 days a week, then played sports at weekend and when sport wasn't on he would go for runs. Don't know why he didn't try to convert me!!Anyway I fancied him loads but he has changed himself over the years and now his arm muscles are so wide and his body has almost got square so think he has gone too far with it. The strong saturn in his chart could also have something to do with it. Also natal and progressed saturn pluto aspects give a rock solid character and a physical manifestation of this could be bodybuilding. IP: Logged |

Thanks for that explanation. We're both heavy fire and earth types and I'm amazed by all that he's gone through and what he's done with his life. I tell him that all the time. When I met him he was kicked pretty far down (note the chiron aspects.. his life was really that bad).IP: Logged |
