It is a rocking and rolling party week! Last weekfs Hammer of Thor clarified stuff for you as it swung at things in your Aries and Capricorn houses. The handle of the Hammer was in your Leo house. The Leo house is the place that your chart wanted to direct the changes from. Whatever you figured out LAST week, you are to emotionally process and get clear on THIS week. Then, NEXT WEEK, you will pick up the Hammer one more time to smite, smack, slap, hammer and swing at all things that need to change in your life in the Aries and Capricorn parts of your life.

Venus, Mercury and the Sun gather in Leo to discuss your future plans and life on Tuesday. Your purpose on earth is defined by your Sun. When Venus and Mercury catch up and chat with the Sun, YOUR SUN gets clear about what you want in YOUR LIFE. That happens this week on Tuesday. The gang gathers and has a good time or bringing good news.

Mercury could have delivered some difficult news lately as hefs been going retrograde. Remember, hefs going to go forward again on August 26th, reversing quite a bit of the bad news that arrived over the past few weeks.

So roll around in old memories and stories this week. Laugh out loud. Enjoy your week. Spend time with dear people that make your days bright and joyous and full of fun.

Mars has a productive and hard working sextile to Jupiter this week after the Venus/ Mercury/ Sun summit meeting. Mars is ruled by Moon in Aries on Thursday when that sextile takes place so hees VERY clear about what he wants. Mars is moving away from his earlier conjunction with Jupiter on May 1, 2011. Back in May, Mars and Jupiter started a new 2 year story. Think back to early May, what did you begin back then which shifted your vision or actions around your connection or relationships with others? Now you plant some serious roots around it. Go forward and enjoy.

The balance of the week is easy going with only Venus changing signs on Sunday and entering the sign of her fall, Virgo.

This week, Mercury and Venus are playing with the Sun. Mars is cooperating with Jupiter. The Sun is happy. Venus is happy. Mercury is going backward and he is happy. Mars is answering to Pisces Moon, Aries Moon and Taurus Moon so hees focused and clear as he works with happy Jupiter answering to Venus in Leo. Saturn is evoking the first week of April 2011 and the third week of November 2010 (Thanksgiving week) as he moves through the degrees of 13 and early 14 Libra. It is a nice week.

So Relax. Enjoy it. Take a vacation day or three.

NEXT WEEK Mercury will set off the Hammer of Thor TWO more times as he moves backwards through the sky and stations to go forward. Mercury will trigger that smiting energy of the business end of the Hammer as Uranus and Pluto smash away at things! And we have our countryes 8th Saturn Return! And we have Mercury stationing to go direct! And we have Mars squaring Saturn as he takes his leave of the t-square in the sky. Yowsa! NEXT WEEK IS WILD AND CRAZY.

Take precautions around your health. Venus and Sun both trine Eris the goddess of discord suggesting if folks try and fight with you, youfll just laugh it off. Or you will use the discordant energy you feel to take positive action towards what you want to create. Tuesday Mars Day August 16 Another long Void Moon day in Pisces, the sign of dreaming and hoping. That makes today particularly powerful for dreaming the future and releasing things that no longer serve you. Today Sun, Venus and Mercury meet up with each other in the sky, promising a rosy future and good news. The three of them are seeking clarity and starting to forge a new identity. Focus on what your soul needs for its happiness in the future. The three of them are happy to oblige in outlining what they (and thus you) want. Because the Moon is Void, you can get carried away a bit on the good news aspects of the day. Even so, no worries ~ the positive closing aspect of the Moon with its sextile to Jupiter says everything will turn out all right. You will have a brilliant idea upon awakening so make sure to follow up on it especially if it is about connections or people that you partner with. Sun and Venusf square to Sedna can make it a highly emotional day where you feel very alone even in a group or crowd. Make sure to groom yourself and prepare yourself for the ritual element of today ~ focus on what you want to release into the Void of energy swirling around you. Mundane: The stock market will continue to roll a bit wildly until Mars finishes his square to Saturn on August 25th. Simultaneously, the United States is having its 8th Saturn return. For those of you who have celebrated your own Saturn returns at age 29 and 58, you know how tumultuous a time onefs Saturn return can be. So as we approach the USAfs return (August 28, 2011 at 5:14 am, Washington, DC) we are having a needed financial gadjustmenth so we are prepared to work with the Saturn return energy for the next 29 years.

The Saturn return we are finishing up took place on October 22, 1981 at 4:03 am. It is an unusually greedy and selfish chart with 5 planets in air sign Libra in the Second house of money and possessions. The ruler of the Libra planets, Venus in Sagittarius is joined to delusional Neptune at the bottom of the chart suggesting the dream of possessing wealth and money was the focus of the country. The ruler of the 8th house of debt is in the 12th house of the chartfs undoing. So here we sit with enormous debt, run up over the last 29 years that undermines us in our pursuit of money and material possessions. The 12th house of undoing is ruled by Leo in the Second house ~ suggesting we will be further undone by our pursuit of material wealth. The chart shouts me, me, ME! It is all about Me!

The new Saturn return has the planets more scattered and all over the place with a grand tine in earth. Leo rules the ascendant with the Sun in Virgo ~(solid, reliable, hard working and dependable but NOT wealthy) joined to Venus in Virgo, the sign of her detriment.
