My AC is on the Gem/Cancer cusp - I've been wondering about this question myself.

cancer internalizes, then let's it out or escapes... gemini, they just, i dunno, had a little bit too much of everything.. they were taken to buffet's too many times when they were little.. gourmet to them just makes no sense unless they read it's importance in a magazine.

cancer's get upset because they never went to the buffet if they took a nap because everyone would just then forget them so for the entire month, they'd vow to never nap, for as long as they lived.. they will never go napping again! so, they then lock themselves away for their whole entire lives at home and teach themselves to cook!

let's see anyone beat them at their own game!
(u can't.. they probably chained up the rest of the folks so that they wouldn't leave while Cancer napped after those long years of cooking for their inmates..--er, uh, loved ones, i meant)

mercury is never too far away from the sun, mind you so gemini's could easily have mercury in Cancer and Cancer's could easily also have mercury in Gemini, just the same!

The Gemini moodiness would be cuz there were too many stobe lights so to speak in the Gemini brain cuz it races.
They need to relax and can't stop their minds sometimes.
The Cancer moodiness is more morose

I whould say gemini is more bipolar and cancer is more of moodswing.

Depending on what "twin" comes out then yes.
My aquarious pal has always said to me
"when things are good your good when things are bad your terrible" That whould be
considered bipolar. Keep in mind thats the gemini male description it whouldn't be the same for the gemini female.

Also, gemini can cheer up faster, Gemini can forgot if there distracted or have
something else to do.

With my Cancer placements...meh. Its pretty much stimuli of every kind. Everything from being hungry (stay away from me if I haven't eaten in more than 12 hours), to the phase of the moon, to just being a sponge for everyone's moods.

Hi George,

I have a Sun in Gemini and Moon, Mer and Mars all in Cancer. Being bipolar is often cited as a gemini or mutable quality but I know lots of Geminis, two of which have the exact same birthday as me. I have noticed we all have very different personalities.Their are some I love and some I cant stand. I find the influence of actual aspects in your chart to be the major differences. Because I in particular have strong pluto and moon aspects in my chart I can often not have a very gemini vibe at all from what i've heard. So hence, not all geminis/mutable signs are bipolar.

Secondly, to give you general info on my Gemini and Cancer combo, I have never been called moody and dont feel I am either but if your friend is acting hot and cold its prob because shes very upset or even deeply hurt by something. She is trying to stay positive but has lost faith and prob wont share it with anybody. Try to talk to her about it, stay consistant because she will prob wont budge easily. If you care for her she will see it and open up eventually. And if she has a cancer moon she will never forget your kind gesture for as long as she lives
